hello everyone, just curious on what the latest hashrate that everyone is getting using claymore miner with rx580 on epoch #180?  I just got a msi armor rx580 8gb and the best hashrate I can get out of it is about 18mh on epoch #180 no matter how I tweak it...  I am seeing posts from a few months ago saying that they can get the hashrates in the 30mh optimal range so I am just wondering if the current rate is due to the growth of dag file or maybe my configuration is somewhat off?  Thanks for sharing.

UPDATE on the specs:
  • msi armor rx580 8gb
  • gpu core 1200 mhz
  • gpu mem 2080 mhz
  • gpu power draw 75w
  • acer t710 win10 home gpu installed as and extra card
  • -cvddc 900 -cclock 1200 -mclock 2080 (added to the bat)
  • Win10-64Bit-Radeon-Software-Adrenalin-Edition-18.3.4-March23 driver installed (tried the amd blockchain driver as well)
  • bios flashed with 2_apolyon_msi580_hynix.rom from https[Suspicious link removed] from https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2815803.0 just applied but still remained in the 18mh hashrate

Just rebooted and refreshed the settings and confirmed that the hashrate is now at 29mh.  thanks everyone~

You didn't specify if your card is 4 or 8 gb one, but it mostly have to do with timings/overclock. For ~30 you are looking at 1150/2200 core/mem clocks with public straps from PBE. Also, I'm sure you didn't toggle compute switch in driver settings, cause even with default clocks/timings you should see something in neighborhood  of ~23.

epoch 180 did not change any of my cards.

6x rx570 4gb
2x rx580 4gb

all fine.

check that your card is still in compute mode.

I have an RX580 8GB HIS and a PowerColor that works fine doesn't decrease hashrate each card 30MH /s in ETH. for solving a problem, you can try to change drivers with the newest driver and don't forget switch to compute mode or may use the old one(blockchain).

just updated the specs to make it more clear, yes you are correct on the the compute mode switch because it the computer crashes when the miner starts to run in the compute mode so I just installed https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2815803.0 this tool and still the same result...
