It depends on what one deems as 'bright'.

I would argue that for opportunistic people whose main goal is to raise funds through an ICO rather than building a product with real world application, then the future is bleak owing to ever increasing action from regulatory bodies around the world.

So it's not looking bright for pump and dump projects.

On the other hand, for projects with real world application and partnerships, the future looks very bright indeed.

The only way a crypto/blockchain project survives in the future is by adhering to established or newly established regulation, and having legitimate partners.
