I'll ask you the same question that you have asked, why do think so that Ethereum is dead? if you asked that kind of question because of its UPs and DOWNs then you are not paying attention on what really cryptocurrency is. It seems like you are still confuse why cryptocurrencies pumps and dumps from time to time. Let me say this to you, what is happening on the cryptocurrency, this ups and downs are just normal.

So there is no point on asking if it is dead already just because of that, what a noob question, quit earning cryptocurrency if you are going to be like that.

Ethereum is not dead or closed account, maybe by this time some one realized the nature of crypto currency trading market, anyway, market is Volatile, anything can happened at any given time, the fluctuation of the market is just normal occurrence in day to day trading, some coins price value goes up and some goes down, it is dependent on the behavior of investors actively moving their investment from coin to another. please take note of the market status now, specially Ethereum.

That a coin fluctuates in price does not mean it is dead. Price is not a determining factor to the success of a coin in the market, it is the price. Ethereum is one of the most adopted coin, so i do not see any reason for it's death.

Of course, everything happens the way you say. If the entire market falls crypto, the etherium also falls with everyone. If we say that the ethereum is dead, then what about other crypto-currencies? Many projects are built on the ethereum platform and have erc-20 tokens. Then at 90% of the crypto-currencies will be dead, with such reasoning.

Like Bitcoin and any other cryptocurrencies, Eth is not immune to price fluctuation that makes the market more volatile. ICOs and smart contract are based on ethereum blockchain technology. More ICOs are being born every month so it only means that Eth is not dead and will never ever die.
