I use eth for long term investment, i prefer to hold eth than do a trading because i know its too risky for me that no knowledge in trading.

I use ethereum to invest, because now eth prices are very cheap, when the price goes up I will get a profit, I focus on trading in the long term and often get results in a month.

Just holding ETH because it is a crypto of worth and good value. ETH has a good market price volatility because of the ICO projects help ETH as the trading pairs with their tokens. ETH has also shown good market price increase on the previous months prior to falling its market price on almost halve. Probably investors for now are investing in bitcoin because bitcoin has believe to have a market price bull run.

2. For trading (because many exchanges require Ethereum for token transactions)
3. To trade the Ethereum

I used to hold eth, but presently i use it to trade and to invest into some coins. The reason being that i can't hold back my eth without masking profit and i have seen the need to trade with it, in order to gain back my lost portfolio. The reason i use it to invest is that, there are some altcoins i have noticed could bring good profit within few weeks is one could make wise decision on some of them.

well, some people also use ETH as a tool to invest. well, compared to bitcoin, I think ETH is more often used to be a transaction tool compared to bitcoin, maybe because the transaction is faster now. besides that the price is also quite cheap, well, but I just feel like that.
