Hello everybody.

I know bitcointalk for a long time, however, i became it`s member not so long ago.

I know about the previous rank system and the only thing i can say about it, that it was extremely easy to use. And i definetely support the new "merit system", that`s gonna exclude the easy ranking and multiaccounting in perspective. However, there are some moments, that i find not very fair, and some offers for improving this system.

About unfair moments. As i understand, merit system is called up to decrease the multiaccounting and increase the quality of the posts. So people now should somehow confirm their originality and competence. But why do you think, that the old forum member are all able to do this? I know, that it was possible to buy even hero member. Full and senior are not a big deal at all. And i see a lot of such highrank members that write posts just to fulfill the requirements for the signature, all messages are empty and doesnt have any meaning. So, i think, that at least the old fullmembers should not got the merits according to their activity, so that they start from the begining and earn merits for their quality posts. But that`s in the past, and now it would be unfair in relation to them.

About imrovement. I think, that sMerits should be distributed to member rank, and maybe jr members, but in a lower quantity, 20 and 10, or 16 and 8 in a month accordingly. I`ll explain why.

I saw a bunch of topics that were very informative, especially for those who are new on the forum or in the cryptotrading. And what do we get? We get the following: old and experienced members dont find these topics informative or interesting, because they already know the most things that were told in them. But for newbies (not rank) these topics are the real treasure.
Without this, i see the sad painting, where new forum members reaps their buts making the really good topics and dont get anything for it. And on the other side: high ranked members just live in their own world of the members with the same high rank and dont give a thing about any other people. Thats not a bad phenomenon, because these two groups just have different levels of interests and knowledge. But for the new members there it`s quite impossible to get what they really deserve at the moment.

Thank you for attention.

bla bla bla

Here is the trick, if you want to give out merits then you need to improve your English, then in turn you will be recognized for your own quality posts and as part of being recognized you will have your own sMerits to hand out. Its pretty simple if you think about it, step up your game then you can encourage others by handing out merits..

Hello everybody.

Thank you for attention.

If you agree and find it useful, you can share merit for me.

In the end beg for a merit? Why aren't you confident in your skills, or alternatively instead of writing a paragraph for a merit look for merit giveaways and post your links there. I know one you can post is Bill Gator but do not pm him lol. Guys long posts and asking for merits is cliche, believe in yourself and post for good, helpful or related not for merit!

you and one more guy above are a bit blind. this topic was created not for begging merits, however, i would not mind if you share some. BUT, it was about the difference between old experienced members and newbies.

I believed this part is true. Yes, you are a right OP. I still believed that there are some posts out there made by newbies where it is very informative. But like what you said, high rank members don't find it interesting which is also true.
Let me tell you something, actually yeah some high rank members are sometimes (or often) not interested in topics made by Newbies, it is maybe because they already know what the topics discussed all about or they're not really interested. But actually, it doesn't matter if high rank members are not interested in a particular topic you made. It doesn't matter if you're post didn't even receive a single Merit although its a perfect symmetry. The most important thing is, you create a informative thread/posts to helps and educate your fellow newbies/beginners. Don't count how many constructive and informative posts you have made, instead, count those Members that you can be able to help. Sharing knowledge is the most important thing, even when Merit System is not yet implemented.

I'm sorry if I'm a little bit off topic but I hope you get what I'm trying to say.

Yeah, some high rank members doesn't even care about helping Newbies. But it's only "some". There are still a lot of Hero and Legendary members who are giving good considerations for newbies. They are helping Newbies, Jr. Members, Members, Full Member and Senior Members to rank up if they really deserves it.

If you agree and find it useful, you can share merit for me.
This made you a Merit beggar Sad

I would share Merit if I had but sorry, I entered forum 2 months later than it was needed.

But, your rank, when you reach it,  will be sort of more deserved then these joined before. Because before that you could just just post anything (like "What a great idea", "I agree with you") for the whole day and thats it, you get you rank when you posted " Smiley " enough times. Smiley

Please stop to beg merits! For the first, show what you can do for this forum and the community here, if you are useful in this forum your post useful and have enough quality, another members will give you merits without ask for it. So don't waste your time to make thread like this or this will be endanger your account.

If you want merit, you should try and help people with their questions and problems. A long well thought out opinion piece is unlikely to earn you merit as opinions exist everywhere.

If you agree and find it useful, you can share merit for me.

Found another one topic that has Jet Cash on it and he already ignored the OP for making this kind of topic about merit. We need some kind of magic if we want to stop this kind of topic made by people. They can use the merit thread by Theymos instead of making this new one.

Lets talk about your suggestion. You said that up to member rank should get merit per month basis. So up till Full Member is about 4.5 month, so if you put 20 per month, you will get 80 merit and only needs 20 merit more to be full member? Come on man, that is almost the same like old system, an automatic point. That system will (still) make a lot of alt account farmers. So, no for your suggestion, and that last part make it worse.

just for statistic.
http://prntscr.com/j3vp1b this is the maximum the good topic can get. (P.s. some of them are merit roulets, and other are just giveaways and some for the satoshi and admins) LOL
http://prntscr.com/j3vpf9 and this is how much can the user get for a long time (and again admins, roulets organizators and etc) even so, it`s barely enough for hero member, however, the different between theymos and other guy is enormous.
and you dare to say smth about good topics that definetely will be nicely merited

lets try this: i`ll write the usefull topic, that will help many people, and you will give me all your smerits. how do we know that the topic is useful? it will be useful because this topic will be about some important moments in trading that helped me to stop losing money and get stabe profit. these advices helped me, and as i`m just a human like many others, they will help them too.

if you gave a good advise or decide a problem and member share to you merit its good , but to write a post for merit it dont good.
