Awesome.  I am going to keep an eye on bitclockers and if they mess with their stats again I'll be sure to use that new config.

I don't know what the best way forward is for polmine or bitcoinpool, but both were amazing pools.  bitcoinpool had like 6 blocks today alone for a massive payout.  Would love to have something mining them even if its not jumping at exactly 43%.

I drink it up!

Anyone else having problems connecting to bitclockers? I'm getting a lot of I/O Errors and RPC problems.

what pools are you mining and have noticed any issues in the console or are shares being accepted?

How many BTC are pending at the pools you are mining?

I can see CP is hopping mostly between Mt.Red, BitHashers, Bitclockers, LowCost and most of the time mining at Ars. I'm using however a config with all the PROP pools avaliable in that config pack that Bloodred posted. I had some issues with United (up to 10% stale) and some connection issues with bitclockers as well. I thought CP was supposed to hop more, but I guess no pool got new blocks right now Sad

Bitclockers is absolutely messing with stats, and your config on the prior page works perfectly Bloodred.

I drink it up!

bitclockers is upgrading a server right now (and in their IRC channel it seems that it is not going well). So I don't think they are faking so much as having back-end issues. Putting the sharecount to 999999999 ensures they don't get hopped at this time, decreasing their load on the infrastructure they are trying to fix/upgrade.

Btw, I'm wondering, what are those numbers that are used for calculating the most efficient pool on CP, like:

14-08-11 02:11:20 * Most efficient pool is: 2bitcoinlc
14-08-11 02:11:20 0.8157297647834125

And why is ArsBitcoin always stuck at

14-08-11 02:10:10 * 0arsbitcoin
14-08-11 02:10:11 * Pool update done
14-08-11 02:10:11    Type: PPS
14-08-11 02:10:11    Hash rate: 441.215 GH/s
14-08-11 02:10:11    1.0022664687283978

Is that normal?

that's some internal algorithm - bloodred's secret sauce. But the further below 1 the greater the efficiency of the pool (1 likely equals 100% efficient)

And Ars being a straight up PPS pool it is always going to produce right around 100% efficiency so it will always be right around 1.00.

I see, thanks for the heads up, I was finding it kinda weird since it was stuck at this number since like, forever.

since you started using CP, how many BTC are you guys averaging per 24 hours with what hashrate? i'd like to know if i should expect more/less from CP than what i'm getting now.  i realize there's a lot of variance over the short term, but just some numbers other than mine to look at could give me some idea of what to expect

Damn it would be nice to have bitcoinpool back working.  They paid out almost 1BTC to me yesterday on 690Mhash/s.

I drink it up!

Seems very nice, mind telling which pools you use and what kind of setting (STATIC_FAST,NORMAL) etc.

Hope anyone can help me.

Bloody, I ran into the same problem.  You just need to add the Java dir path to the windows paths- this should help you out: http://wiki.answers.com/Q/How_do_you_stop_the_error_%27java%27_is_not_recognized_as_an_internal_or_external_command_operable_program_or_batch_file

Yes, it is. I use a value between 0 and 1 to represent how important mining on that pool would be, the closer to 0 the more important. In the case of prop pools that's simply
Code:
shares/diff/0.43
For PPS/BACKUP pools MrWizard is right, it's
Code:
1 + 1/H
where H is the hash rate in Gh/s
The value for PPS pools is supposed to always be near 1, this enforces the 43% prop pool mining threshold, because a prop pool at 43% would have a value of 1. This is why I emphasized the importance of having at least one PPS pool on your hopping list. If there's no pool to enforce the 43% limit, CP will try to do its best and mine on the pool with the lowest share number, but that won't be optimal. This also makes it mine on the fastest PPS pool, no special reason to mine on the fastest since PPS doesn't have any variance, but might as well choose one. SMPPS works similarly to this, except it has a lower value than PPS, but still higher than 1 when it isn't unlucky.

Thank now it is Starting,

but next Problem: Try to start mining but getting poclbm error that I didn't select --platform!

Try adding:

;Args=--platform=1 -v -w128 -f60
;Device=0

or

;Args=-v -w128 -f60 --platform=1
;Device=0

to poclbm.cfg but still same error!?

What do I have to do to get I starting.?

I have another question, is it possible to run to GPUs with one instance of CherryPicking? Whre do I configure this?

Hope you can help me, Thanks a lot!

Need some help.  Installed the files, configured a few pools (up until this point I was using only BTCGuild so I had to make a bunch of new accounts), and keep getting what seems like a connection error.  When I try to manually launch guiminer and have it mine it connects fine and the sites are reporting the work turned in.  When I try to use CP I get this:

Bloody, I ran into the same problem.  You just need to add the Java dir path to the windows paths- this should help you out: http://wiki.answers.com/Q/How_do_you_stop_the_error_%27java%27_is_not_recognized_as_an_internal_or_external_command_operable_program_or_batch_file

Thank you now it is Starting,

but next Problem: Try to start mining but getting poclbm error that I didn't select --platform!

Try adding:

;Args=--platform=1 -v -w128 -f60
;Device=0

or

;Args=-v -w128 -f60 --platform=1
;Device=0

to poclbm.cfg but still same error!?

What do I have to do to get I starting.?

I have another question, is it possible to run to GPUs with one instance of CherryPicking? Whre do I configure this?

Hope you can help me, Thanks a lot!

Bye Bloody

So I tried with device 0 and without any platform, like in guiminer! I set two Miner is the config and I still getting the error Help!

Bye Bloody
Lines starting with ; are considered comments in .cfg files, so they're ignored. Delete the ; in front and it should work. Yeah, you can run any number of GPUs with one instance of CP, as long as they're on the same poclbm platform.

So I'm not sure why it's getting those RPC errors and not connecting  Huh
There are some certificate problems with a few pools that use HTTPS, but a fix is available (see the 2nd post in this topic, there's a link there)

As for the connection issues, your poclbm is for some reason trying to connect to 127.0.0.1 (localhost, your own computer) even though it's being told to connect to some other pool. I don't know why this happens, but try deleting it and then downloading it again.

Now it is working! Thanks for the help!

Is it possible to see the actual hash rate of the miners? I didn't found it!
