Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

I got excited until I opened the page and saw it was a Canadian store  Embarrassed  I guess us Americans will have to wait until Amazon gets more 5850 Xtremes in-stock (2-4 weeks).  I love my 5830's so I'll wait for the 5850s to ship.

I ordered some 5850s from a Canadian retailer (NCIX) over a week ago and as far as I can tell they haven't shipped yet. I expect they will arrive eventually, but I'm not impressed. It might be worth a shot, but I would be wary of ordering from vuugo in the states.

It's funny that you mentioned NCIX, I just subscribed to their Youtube channel which is pretty awesome you should check it out.  Helped me install my new SSD in AHCI mode without confusion.  Let me know how the transaction with NCIX goes, I wish we had some of their stores in the states since they would blow away the crap sold at Compusa/Tiger Direct/Best Buy.

Is there any duty/VAT to be paid from ordering in Canada from the USA(used to be AAA but now just A)?

Bitcoin is backed by the full faith and credit of YouTube comments.

I have relatives in Canada. Then again, they'd probably just keep the money.  Shocked

Are you in the states? If so, WTF, where are my cards? I contacted customer support about this, but no response yet. I know NCIX has a good rep, but my experience with them has been crap so far.

I live in Canada and I order from NCIX a lot and sometimes it can take a while to ship.  More so when I place big orders.  Hold on to your panties you should hear from them on Monday.

Thanks for the info. This is hardly a big order though (2 cards). My panties are actually not in much of a bunch about this b/c I'm waiting on risers from China and can't use the cards till they arrive. Still, I think Monday will be the 7th business day since I placed the order. For items that were claimed to be in stock, that is pretty unsatisfying, and certainly much slower than the norm in my experience.

I'm in Canada, they shipped the morning after I ordered so idk what is going on with their state side orders.  I have always gotten my orders shipped within a few hours during work days.

If anyone wants them in the US I can order them and reship them for $170 a piece, but less than that it wouldn't be worth it.

There are reshipment services that do it for less than that.  I have used them in the past to buy big purchases in a non-taxable state and reship to me.
