Anyone got a suggestions for a good PSU for these units? Im UK based so need 240v
Thanks.
Apparently they pull around 375W so a good single rail 600-650W Gold PSU would be my choice. Something like EVGA SuperNova NEX 650W '80 Plus Gold' Modular Power Supply 180GH/s 480W Kano I've measured mine with a simple watt meter and I am only using around 37x watt (on 240v) and getting around 179GH/s

My AntMiner is between 360's and 370's with the dual blade running the total of 180GH/S average. quote author=mtbitcoin link=topic=330665.msg3804875#msg3804875 date=1386066893] Anyone got a suggestions for a good PSU for these units? Im UK based so need 240v

But I also think it depends on the PSU. Since some people seem to be trying to get cheaper ones, it is definitely worth considering allowing up to 500W per AntMiner. I've got 2xOCZ 1250W PSUs for my main setup and they are together running at 1280W total 2xKLN, 2xBAS, 2xBAJ, 1xBTB, 1xBaB, 1xAntMiner However, when I measured it, it was here at my desktop with a cheapo 950W PSU (cables running too hot to touch) and the 480W may be due to that. I measured with both a Watt meter and also with a clamp current meter and it was indeed using ~20A per 12V cable - so mine was indeed 480W (yes I'm in Aus so 240V also) ... I should check the current reading now that it's connected to a better PSU and see if it has dropped. Edit: OK with the OCZ it's ~13A and ~14A so ~325W on the PSU cables OK a lot better

Hi,
Can I use one PSU for 2 or 3 Antminer. It should be a 1200W or 1500W.

Does the covered setup help with cooling?? yes did you make it, or repo it from a similar-sized item? i find a decent bit of airflow escapes through the 2mm opening on the outer side of the boards, which proabbly is a significant amount of cooling that can be recaptured

Something like EVGA SuperNova NEX 650W '80 Plus Gold' Modular Power Supply The NEX650G isn't a single rail supply, it's a 4 rail supply with each rail limited to 20A. I haven't tested my 750G to see how far over the 20A you can go without tripping the OCP, but 30A might be pushing it.

BITMAIN,
What program do we need to run in our computers to use AntMiner U1?
Will current copies of cgminer and bfgminer work?
Will you be providing a working miner program to download?
Thank you.
We will provide a branch of cgminer for U1.

Would it be possible to completely remove the "Antminer" logo/text from the box label? We don't want funny carriers or package thefts get any idea of bitcoin/miners/money/etc when they see these packages.
Thanks!
