Yes blockchain has its ups and downs today.

Just search for your address - the one you sent the btc from - and check your latest transactions.

Hi guys,

i'm thinking of buying 1 or 3 of these ANTMINER S1 Dual Blades.
But is this worth it because the difficulty will increase and the power consumption costs?

Any help would be nice... thanks in advance.

The difficulty will increase, but ONLY in steady pace (in my opinion).
That being said,
Do you honestly think that all these miners you hear about have not already been mining?
So when you purchase one it doesn't really make much difference.
The hashing power was there to begin with.

So, it is all up to you.
Also, if you are a true believer and expect the btc price to rise like me then maybe your $620 btc today will be worth $2000 in one or two months.

Decisions, decisions.....

It is all up to you.
But do research the subject before diving in.

Hello fellows. I've placed an order on ant last night through bitmaintech.com and paid immediately. However I have yet received any confirmation order. Usually how long do I have to wait to get an order confirmation email? Thanks!

Is your order status Paid? Check on website. If it's Paid, click "View" on order list to find your tracking number, if it's already shipped, if not, wait a little bit.

Well I hope you're not keeping your new Bitcoin on any exchange this time around.
The biggest mistake people made with Mt Gox was keeping their stash there.  It's an exchange not a wallet. Always move your stuff off after you're done transacting and you won't be caught up if anything goes south.

Thinking about buying this antminer, still profitable for how long? we got a 21% taxrate over here and 0.22euro /kw/h
As the GPU farm with 4x 7950's is only making me about 0.018 btc a day with power costs about 5 euro's a day.

I been thinking about this one and would make me about 0.02 btc a day with power costs of 2 euro a day somewhat

The Ant is most definitely more profitable from your GPUs.

My opinion, get an Ant for BTC and mine LTC with the GPUs.

I just received another S1 today and this one was used big time. Lots of Chinese dust all over the PCB boards and fan blades. Should I contact them and have them replace it?

Also might be a sign of things running out and new model coming out.

My fan is going full blast even when going from a cold start. How do I fix this? My other miner's fan runs much quieter.

How do I fix this? I checked the connection and it seems that all cables are properly set in the connector end (but not entirely sure). I pushed the fan cables into the connector to see if that'd help but it didn't

Please let me know! Thx

Your choice, of course, but if it works I'd say use it. You'd lose a significant amount of income by being without a unit for the 1 or 2 week turnaround, plus paying for shipping to Bitmain. You'd need to mine for many weeks to recover that, and you'd never catch up to what you could have mined by keeping it.

I guess. Doesn't make sense sending it back all the way. It seems to be stable.

On a different note, is there any setting between 350 and 375? I don't overclock but want a tiny bit more juice out of these things. Like 360?

Check if the blue wire is properly connected.
If it is, don't worry about it, it could have been worse, like the fan not working AT ALL!!!  Wink
