What is an Initial Coin Offering (ICO)?
An initial coin offering (ICO) is a way to crowdfund cryptocurrency as a source of capital for new projects. A quantity of the crowdfunded cryptocurrency is allocated to contributors in the form of “tokens”, in exchange for other cryptocurrencies such as bitcoin ($BTC) or ethereum ($ETH). These tokens become functional units of currency when the ICO’s funding goal is met and the project launches.

What is the VU ICO?
The VU Initial Coin Offering will allocate VU tokens to contributors in exchange for Ethereum ($ETH). VU tokens will give users the ability to purchase exclusive digital assets in-game, or trade for Bitcoin or Ethereum through cryptocurrency exchanges.

What is this program?
Through small and simple as well as more complex, fun, and challenging tasks, you can haul in massive quantities of VU token and compete for the weekly Grand Prize and Bonuses, and then final rank bonuses.
Earn Points for completing tasks. Task Points convert to VU tokens. 1 Point = 5 VU tokens (Approximately .00083 $ETH). Your VU token rewards are multiplied by your Reach Factors for each platform.

What is a “Reach Factor” and how does is affect my token rewards?
Total VU per task = (Task Points Earned Per Platform x 5 VU) x Platform Reach
Reach Factor: Platform numbers are recorded to calculate your Reach Factors at the time of bounty registration.
100 YouTube or Twitch subscribers = x1 (up to 100K, additional subscribers at 1000 = x1)
100 LinkedIn or Reddit followers = x1 (up to 100K, additional subscribers at 1000 = x1)
1000 FaceBook, Instagram, or Twitter followers = x1 (up to 1M, additional followers at 10,000 = x1)

NOTE:
Your Reach Factor does NOT affect your weekly Point total, so no bounty participant has a Weekly Contest advantage over another because of the size of their networks. Total participation and leaderboard points will determine the winners of the weekly Grand Prize and Bonuses.
Your Reach Factor DOES affect your total VU allocation for the cumulative VU leaderboard and final rank bonuses.

20 Points x 5 VU = 100 VU
10K YouTube subscribers x 1/100 = 100 Reach Factor; 100 VU x 100 Reach Factor = 10,000 VU
Bonus: 100K Twitter subscribers x 1/1000 = 100 Reach Factor; 5 VU x 100 Reach Factor = 500 VU
Total VU = 10,000 + 500 = 10,500
Example 2: Mega-Influencer Example (1M YouTube Subscribers)

20 Points x 5 VU = 100 VU
100K YouTube subscribers x 1/100 = 1000 Reach Factor

What is the Points Leaderboard and what are the Weekly Prizes?
Points are rewarded for Tasks completed.

Your points are converted to VU tokens (1 point = 5 VU) and banked in your account every Saturday at 17:00 UTC with the leaderboard reset.

What is the VU Token Leaderboard?
Participants are ranked by cumulative VU tokens earned throughout the ICO and the top 10 positions will get a percentage of the total remaining VU token partner allocation (i.e. 1% total VU tokens are allocated to partners (10,000,000) – VU tokens banked to partners for promotional tasks through ICO completion = Remaining VU partner allocation)

WHEN and HOW do I get my VU Tokens and how do I use them?
Your final VU token allocation will be calculated and paid out within 30 days after the ICO end date or hard cap target is reached, whichever comes first.
To receive your VU tokens you will need an ERC-20 compatible wallet. If you currently do not have this wallet, or are unfamiliar with the process of Ethereum transactions, make a free wallet using www.myetherwallet.com
Once tokens are distributed, a special set of values will be provided, so that you can interact with the tokens attached to your wallet. This information will be provided closer to the end of the sale.
VU tokens can be used to buy unique in game items, digital assets, and experiences in the Virtual Universe.
