I will recommend block chain wallet for storage of your bitcoin.block chain is highly secure and well built. Is difficult to hack at the moment. Ledger nano is also good for storage.

Since I do not hold a lot of Bitcoin, I prefer to hold my limited number of bitcoins on an exchange's address. There are a couple of reputed exchanges in my country and I keep my coins there. I know it is highly unsafe to keep Bitcoin over there, but after the recent incidents with MEW, I think nothing is safe anywhere.

This is the main reason that keeps me off the holding part. What if I am holding something for years and then it eventually gets stolen. That is so heartbreaking.

if talking about the wallet of bitcoin, the main thing chosed is security and ease, and a good online wallet in my opinion is xapo, and coinbase.

but if you have more bitcoin assets, I think you better use a hard wallet like ledger.

I am looking for the best bitcoin wallet.

What do you recommend guys?

Best bitcoin wallet is hard wallet like trezor. But you can use blockchain.info if you want and so far i am using it. I am believe every wallet is safe and secure as long we keep our private key safe.

FOR Bitcoin and any other crypto, i'd recommend any hardware wallets, hardware wallets store your coins offline making it almost impossible for hackers to pick your private information and use them to get access to your accounts, they also give you  a chance to verify your account activities before making transactions. theyare the safest wallets there are. you can try Trezor or the Ledger Nano S

I have used lots of wallet. But wallet depends on where you from. In PH which I am located we use coins.ph and it's the #1 here. There is this new one called Abra but not that good because of the payout issue. Coinomi is nice when you are in mobile and when you like to have altcoins also.  But the fee is high.

I would advise Electrum for desktop and mycelium and electrum for android. For paper wallet I would advise greenaddress website for generating it. You can also use that website off line if you don't trust it. Also try to stick to the older and trusted wallets instead of any new wallets.

I only use hardware wallets...have several of them and split my portfolio between them just in case something goes wrong. They all have recovery phrases if something bad happens, but I sleep better at night knowing my portfolio is split on different devices. Your private key never leaves the wallet so it can't be hacked, unless someone steals your device.

There are many different ways to use Bitcoin and so there are many different types of wallets:

Online bitcoin wallets. Wallets that can be accessed on the web from any internet connected device.
Bitcoin hardware wallets. Physical devices designed to secure bitcoins.
Software wallets. Wallet applications downloaded to your phone, computer or tablet.
Paper wallets. Bitcoin private keys printed from an offline computer. click the link for more info https://www.weusecoins.com/en/find-the-best-bitcoin-wallet/

what i use is ledger it is easy to use and has a high security freatures, actually you can use a lot of wallets for u to be more secured and safe.

We should use currency wallet for a long time because the reason. It was good. And there would be good idea. We keep this wallet for bitcoin because it is so safe now.
I did not accept anything without the real experience I had set in a mind. Over a year I used to hold Bitcoin in the coinbase and buy and sell Bitcoin in the coinbase. But I think in some of the country, coinsbase is not able to buy and sell Bitcoin.

Always prefer hardware wallet to store your Bitcoins as it is safe and chances of hacking are less. Avoid using any online exchange based wallet. You can Store your funds on wallets like electrum or ledger Nano as they are safe and secure.
