Long term, the best bets are LTC/PPC because they're already established. After them, whatever is rare and currently undervalued. Look for BTB and DMD for example.

NMC is also interesting for its application, but with the recent price swings it seems way overvalued - as almost anything these days...

obviously it'll be something that isn't established now but will be in the future.  It's likely one of the established things will go down in flames to one of the new things (see everything in the history of the net, like say myspace)

unless you have inside info I think anyone's guess is as good as mine

MEC.

I second this

Joking aside, megacoin.co.nz looks promising, and the software client is tweaked, way better for newcomers than the Bitcoin-qt, that's my opinion at least..

TAG has some good features but it's mostly hype. I wouldn't touch it if it was the last crypto on the planet.

Hype like professional development, deployed services, and financial backing? Hopefully more think like you and TAG keeps flying under the radar.

Hey I made this xxCoin, it has professional development with no credibility whatsoever, deployed services which don't exist and financial backing which can be provided by just about anyone, but it still makes me special.

Sorry, which alt are you referring to that can match TAG's services and backing? And if you think the developer has no credibility you have no idea what you are talking about.

Sexcoin, unless you know somewhere else where you can buy cute little toys for coins...  Wink
