I've just read some information on tonchat.org, it seems that TON(telegram's blockchain) will be able to support up to 4.2 billions of different coins as Ethereum seems to be dying, will Telegram Open Network be the next blockchain which everyone do ICO on?

And why do you think that ethereum is dying? They are holding the 2nd market cap, ETH is the leading platform for most tokens. Vitalik Buterin is still one of the smartest minds and the strongest influencers in the whole crypto world. I'm sure that most of the Ethereum's problems definetely would be resolved and it is kinda wrong to compare it with the blockchain that is not yet released. Especially when TON have such a huge initial market cap.

This is obviously an impossibility. Because ETH is still a leader, ETH is hard to replace.

First, there are people who are saying that "this coin" is going to be the next bitcoin. And I guess that's already old enough so you guys are saying this. Ethereum and other altcoins are different and I can't get it why you keep on comparing it to other coins? You know what, those are still altcoins and they are the same in terms of being called as an altcoin. Whether it's owned by telegram, kodak or any legit company, they are incomparable to each other because they will still end up being called as an alt.

I don't think ethereum will be replaced by another coin because it is going to be lost forever as it showed that it has dropped in price. The claims posted is just a FUD to make telegram coin popular. Yet that is not the case as we see in the ethereum value today. Ethereum's price had gone up a bit similar to bitcoin.

I think you are wrong about giving the op such a hard time. Telegram has 200 million users, all of which will get the TON wallets automatically. Telegram ICO already collected more than a billion dollars, which also never happened in the world of cryptocurrencies. Finally, telegram is itself an encrypted network, so making deals via their blockchain in their chats is simply logical and the safest. Ethereum is surely not dying yet, but it has some huge problems people seem to ignore. And yet TON is more about deals between people, not about building your own icos on the platform (though, of course, the platform makes it possible).

As far as I've heard, the sale of their tokens will be closed and none of the ordinary buyers will be able to buy them. Probably there will be some kind of airdrop, otherwise the project will turn out to be too centralized.

The market of ETH is starting to recovering and i think it will go all the way to the top. ETH is dying? No it will not and never will be. However if this blockchain that your mentioning is a good ICO project then no doubt it will success.

Telegram is not content to sell tokens and services on platforms like Ethereum like most ICOs do. Instead, it wants to create its own platform similar to Ethereum to accommodate new decentralized services and Internet experiences - using blockchain technology.
If everything goes according to plan, Telegram's ICO is expected to create new records, but this is only the beginning. Telegram plans to raise a total of 1.2 billion U.S. dollars, first selling 600 million U.S. dollars to traditional venture capital investors and their insiders in executive circles. According to the selected participants, the first phase lasted from January to February and can only be attended by invitation.

TON looks good and is worth keeping for a long time. One drawback of TON, however, is that the hard hat is too big.

Who told you Ethereum is dying? Ethereum is really solid platform and thousands of projects depend on it so it is not easy for any newcomer to kill Ethereum.
