the only truly cryptocurrency is Bitcoin. It doesn't matter if BTC is less fast of Litecoin...
Litecoin is less decentralized! its founder made tons of money with Litecoin at the ATH. He sold everything saying to make the currency more decentralised.
I don't think this is the truly motivation that push him to sold almost his stake...

I prefer to invest in bitcoin than litecoin because litecoin is not popular cryptocurrency and investing on it is very risky unlike investing investing in bitcoin that even the market price is decreasing there are still many people willing to invest.

I would hold a little bit of ETH but Bitcoin is the no. 1 coin. Litecoin has really dropped in price with the Bitcoin crash. Litcoin has been around a very long time and it's price has not rose a whole lot. I believe it will be a while before we see LTC back in the $300 usd range!!!

 I think both are good if you plan to invest then invest into both so if you have a variety of quality coins in the wallet. But Bitcoin can now be a good choice for savings or long-term investments, but Litecoin can give us an advantage over long trading but it's also back to you because the decision is in your hands.

It's no debate that bitcoin is the best, it has really stood the test of time. It's d most widely used and accepted  crypto it can be used for long term trading...what I observe personally any lotion is that, with Litcoin,u can actually make profit on a daily basis

Litecoin was very much known for the coin having faster transaction confirmations compared to Bitcoin. I don't know if that is true now.

Yeah, this is true. Hardly anyone has heard of Litecoin. Ask your grandma if she has ever heard of Litecoin, she will say no.
