Personally, I think it's because of the fact that the price of altcoins and other cryptocurrencies are much quicker to rise than those in stock market. However, consequences include risk of crashing drastically in matter of days/weeks and also add up the risk of some coins not recovering after drastic market crash. People tend to go with short term solutions instead of long term ones because most of us are impatient or needs profit ASAP.

It's better to invest in Altcoin because if you happen to lose money or risk you will not have to settle like investing in securities. And now the Altcoin coin has a relatively low price, and you can easily buy and hoard.

It's up to you, you can invest in bitcoin and some other big projects, but it depends on your funds for investment, because what I know if in small amounts it won't give you much profit, so sometimes the most realistic option is only altcoin, like that maybe what really happened. |

For me, as far as I know, if you talk about investment, it is very risky. Its either you may loose a big amount of money or you may earn a big profit for it. So before you decide you must to think it first. A real investor always think before putting a money into the altcoins which you may be failed or you may win. But if you insist, try to invest of it maybe someday the coins that you want to invest may be arise someday and the big profit must be awaiting for you.

Investing in Altcoins is a good strategy, making investments is not easy, and therefore you'll need to have an optional investment, be sure to not stick onto only one investment, because anything can happen, and if you get scammed there'll be a 2nd option if things do not go out on what you have expected, If I were you I'd invest in ETH, XRP, and NEO.

If anyone prefers to invest in real estate alone and not wanting to invest into altcoins, then such person has no business in the crypto space. I believe in diversification, because wealth can be acquired through different areas, most especially when you have multiple streams of income. The source of money for every capital investment i have made all came from cryptocurrency, most especially altcoins.
