Of course that would be Ethereum. well it is in second place. if bitcoin got banned. then ETH will go up. I beleive that bitcoin will someday go down and ETH will rise up on the top. I mean most of the coins came from the idea of Ethereum.

Is there any reason for the bitcoin to get banned?  If so, then the other coins will get the same sanction. But if Bitcoin were to be replaced I would prefer to use ETH.I think ETH has what it takes to take over in the market  and it is not being far behind to its biggest rival Bitcoin. Well firstly i would say that if bitcoin is banned that will essentially kill of all the alts as well. Bitcoin is at the end of the day the lifeblood of the entire crypto market, and the only coin apart from maybe ether that is really liquid.
I dont really think any other coin could replace it. That being said i dont think any whole government ban will come, largely because most government know that such a ban would mostly be futile and akin to playing whack a mole. Take the china ban, yes it did  hurt the markets in September last year, but markets eventually moved on to hit new highs in December, all the while it has not really dented the appetite of the Chinese regarding crypto investments, it just that they now primarily happen underground or over OTC/ P to P

I think it has the greatest potential of all altcoins. And given the efforts of the Chinese, it will probably be terribly popular altcoin.

Well most of us thinks the same way, ETH have a big space considering the number two coin inside this market, it's hard to make a decision when market is falling then every coin inside are moving downwards, better to keep yourself in the right track knowing good community behind this coin and the project have real usage, for sure it can be as good as bitcoin if we will remove bitcoin from our option inside crypto market.

most of us choose ethereum because the price has the potential to reach the highest price again soon and there is no doubt that the ethereum can easily to increase higher. and if ethereum can rise again, I think the token that using ethereum as their base network can also get an increase too and we can make a double profit for this.
