Bitcoin and Ethereum are always my top choices. Bitcoin gave birth to the cryptocurrency market, a lot of altcoin is affected by Bitcoin. Many experts predict that by the end of this year Bitcoin will grow rapidly and its price will be over $ 20000. Ethereum is the foundation of a lot of ICO, it has professional team and good scalability. I believe that in the future Ethereum competes with Bitcoin. Besides, I would also buy Stellar, this is altcoin has a very fast growth.

LTC is really cheap now. But i don’t see its price moving up at all.. I bought at price $85, then it fell to $75, I bought at $76, it went down to $74. LTC is totally disappointed.

you should always have at least 25% in any of the top 10 coins and at least 25% in Bitcoin in my opinion. Think about it, do you think bitcoin isnt going to 50K? Thats still a great profit, and a safe hedge. The 25% top 10 coins (LTC, ETH) have a really good chance to go up at least 10 times in the next 5 years as well, but they're IMO a little more risky than bitcoin. With the other 50% look for projects with working products, a big following, continious innovation and rolling releases, and partnerships with established and succesful companies.

Partly it is possible to throw in cheaper coins and receive a small profit on day trading. But for this, at least ten coins should be observed immediately.  And the purchase of top coins is not sure that this is an excellent move, without waiting for the pit of the coin, too, can lead to even more significant losses.

With the current market conditions, choosing a coin for long-term investment is very important, if we choose the wrong one, we can be sure that we will regret and lose, the main priority right now is ETH because I believe that ETH will soon skyrocket compared to bitcoin or litecoin.
