Why would it crash?
Because it had in the past Obviously big correction happens after fast price rise, but I dont agree the price will be around 100 again so I voted: wont crash

I'm guessing it'll stabilize around 200. Don't think we'll see 100 anymore unless something big happens.

"The wisdom of the crowd..." Keep in mind that this amounts to zero. For a market to crash, it all but requires the majority of investors to be caught off guard. Since the market is merely a reflection of the mood of the investors.

Bitcoin hasn't formed a classic (trading pattern) exponential crash pattern quite yet, but it's forming.
Keep in mind that moves "down" are always much more violent then moves up, as they are fear driven.
So it's very possible to lose half your account value (in dollars) overnight. Which is significant no matter how you look at it.
As for people looking to buy now, unless you need to spend them, or are intending to trade them to make money, I would be very very cautious.
Also keep in mind that price crashes do *not* represent the overall real-value of bitcoin, since the only participants are those showing bid-asks in the market. In other words, if 5% of bitcoin holders are trading the market and price it down lower, it doesn't represent the overall sentiment of bitcoin holders.

I think it could drop 20-25% in the next week, but to drop 80% in value in over about, i seriously doubt that.
If it's the case I will definitely be buying more BTC at that price.

I doubt it'll go back to $100, we are now past that point. If it were to crash, which I think it may, It'll probably just crash to a max of $250 USD.

I do not see the price falling below 400 USD this month. The interest in cryptocurrencies is expanding to the mainstream, and once you try it, you never go back entirely. Bitcoin can only be replaced by a successor, and that is not happening this year.

all the bulls are fully leveraged, all the new blood has no fiat left, everyone is crying "to the moon"..... yeah, it's gonna crash. it's gonna be epic! i think we'll bounce at 280-300, but there's a good chance we'll break that support on the next re-test. $100 is likely gone, but high-$100s -- not so sure.

One more time. Bitcoin spreading from the nerd/speculator stage to the mainstream. The more people use it, the less volatile, and there are no obvious problems on the horizon. So, why, precisely, do all you crashers think it is going to crash? Please explain.

Correction is inevitable, but not down to $100s. OP is way off here, down to $2xx for sure

Waiting for a crash is a very risky approach; the most likely outcome is that you will have to buy at a higher price than today.
