I doubt it that you can make 20%-50% for short term basis.

It's not impossible but its going to be tough for someone. Usually you can get 5%-10% and if you are going to chase more than that, you are into higher risk so I don't usually push short termers into that amount if they don't know what they are doing. For experts, 20%-50% is kind of a challenge but its possible.
