The safest bet would be to buy altcoins that are stable in a low price for a while and is in the top 100 of coinmarketcap. They might be sleeping giants that might soon wake up and make a bullish move. Particularly, I recommend you OP to stockpile some eth while it is still low. IMO they will reach even greater heights so long as many ICO's are being launched and so long as many erc20 tokens have a use case.

Good suggestions. I also advise investing into any of the top 100 coins on coinmarketcap since there are a lot of potential winners among them which could rake in sizable profits in the future if you invest into them at present. I own a good number of such coins and am HODLING them for future profits in the long term. You need to do your own research op and decide which of these coins seem like winners to you since it is your money that you are investing. Ethereum and Bitcoin are safe bets, but I advise you not to expect huge returns from them in the short term unless you purchase a big stack of these coins.

for me i prefer Tron there are alot of updates coming in the way and im sure the price will increase alot after the main net is launched soon it will not be a erc20 anymore you should research first before investing to the coin.

Number one of course bitcoin is best choice   but if you want buy some alternative coins, ethereum is not bad because ethereum has large of capitalization of marketcap and second reasons ethereum can be used for payment options in ICO, also you can buy EOS token many people said that EOS will be more expensive in couples weeks later after the EOS blockchain be launched on june 1st.
