Any admins here that would like to hire me to a job that I can get a reward with merits? I guess giving of merits will not composed only on posting constructive post rather it could also be base on performance. I am public high school teacher here in the Philippines and i am wondering if i could do a job here to improve the bitcointalk forum and be able to impart my knowledge and skills in teaching. Hopefully i could get a positive reply on this thread and bumping in even at least 1 merit will do. Thank you in advance.

If your intention is to do a job not because you want to do it but rather because you want to gain merit, then forget it. I am not sure about what any mod thinks of this personally but if it were me, I'd never hire you.
Merit is not supposed to be earned as a payment, its a gift, a sign of generosity for the nature of your helpful or otherwise cooperative and or constructive post.

There is no such thing as that mate. If some one will be doing this then it will be just like selling their Merits for a certain kind of job. It will be a kind of trade, which is unforgiven here. You trade your efforts for their merits... that's what will it looks like...

But if you will still push that thing then how about making your post have a better quality as a job. Merits are made for shitposter and other non quality posters thats why there are no other things that you can do just to have some of it. If you will try to do unnecessary things just to have them, sooner or later you will be found out.

Note for the OP: I'm also a filipino like you, but the thing is I'm just a student, unlike you whose already a professional and does have a degree on something worth for a better job.

EDIT: and there you have it, you've already been put into ignore by a high rank person here. You should avoid on doing such thing like this or some other people will not just put you into their ignore list but the worst case is having you a red trust. It is not all about merit as a payment system rather a reward on doing and helping on the forum. If you are familiar with the principles of teaching which talks about the negative and positive reinforcement to be able to get the learners learning process in a constructive way then i suggest that there could be a simple and better way to promote a healthy forum. Thus, it is my way of helping the forum from spammer especially in the local threads where i can understand our very own language. Like for example i could do private message on those people who are spamming, low quality post, and trolling could be reprimanded using private messages. Those are simple things yet could be helpful in promoting positive environment for the forum.

Well then that sounds great anyway i am here to help and all of you guys are putting some inputs regarding with this thread. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and expertise since you are in line with the technicalities in this system which might others think as well that your doing your best. And I guess promoting healthy environment for the forum is not an easy job. You guys are just doing great just as much i want to share some inputs on this forum unfortunately it is an epic fail. LOL

The DTs have already tried that not just once and not just twice but many times as they could. But it seems those people who only makes non sense just ignore the PMs of the Higher Ups. And we already have the rules and regulations here in the forum. People are just too lazy to read them thats why they're not earning even just a single bit of Merit.

Don't beg for merit. There are lots of examples where users have exposed e.g. alts, scammers or (hint, hint) merit abuse and received merit for it. But it's not a 'job' where you agree on payment beforehand. Instead, it's a way of participating on this forum, being a good netizen and *maybe* being rewarded with merits.

I think theres nothing wrong from what you said that youll work in exchange of getting a merit.Its better than begging for a merit but from what they said merit is a gift or a reward for a person that had contributed to the forum.So just work hard to earn merit then because your proposal isnt good.I know you can earn merit because from what you said your a teacher so you can easily constract good quality post.Merit will come in a right time so just be patient and do your best.

 - Forcing people to post high-quality stuff in order to rank up. If you just post garbage, you will never get even 1 merit point, and you will therefore never be able to put links in your signature, etc.
 - Highlighting good posts with the "Merited by" line.

These are not the kids in your classroom, spammers won't care about your PM.

Seeing your post history reminded me of hilariousandco's post:

Spam can come in many forms, but a typical spammer's posts will often follow some sort of pattern which will be immediately obvious upon inspection and will usually consist of one or two sentences of rehashed opinion posted as fast as possible with the minimal amount of effort being put in.

Almost all your posts are 5 lines long, that can only mean you're aiming to type a certain length, hoping it won't look spammy.

Merits should be awarded for good posts ONLY, in my opinion, and if it's too hard to write something that's going to earn them, I'd forget about other methods--those are more likely to earn you a negative reputation here than anything else. 

People need to chill out and be more patient with the merit system.  In addition to that, I see so many people who obviously put ZERO effort into their posts, and they either write new posts complaining about how they're being picked on, or they'll start up unnecessary new threads (and usually the OP is short and poorly-written) to do the same.

Do these people not see which posts are getting merits?  Emulate those, though if you're a noob and you're railing against shitposters and praising the merit system....people are going to see through that.

you created this and now you have to guard it till you suffer eternally..... maybe you shouldnt be perfectionistic, and try to achieve a systems 100% applicability, but be just happy with 50-ö0% which it will get anyway.
