Anyone make serious profit from hodling 6-12 months ?

The biggest profits were from those who sold in December 2017. I would not have considered this in terms of keeping 6 months. It's more logical to say - to keep tokens as much longer as the market will greatly grow. And yes, it is more profitable and psychologically less tiring than day trading.

well it all depend on the ICO. I remeber last year I made around 5x on Aion token. the project was really great and that was when the token went around $10 although the price is now very down just $3 now. the same thing went ok for hedge token I made just 3x almost 3 months after the end of the crowdsales and listing. this year things are not going well with altcoin. I hope some token I have kept in my wallet for past 6 month appreciate to opposite has been the case.

Yes, beyond any doubt. However, there is a direct dependence on the quality of the project/coin and earnings. If this is a failed project and a bad investment, then even in a year it will not bring you money. To keep this long is relevant only for good and promising projects.

Well try to see into list of ico project ROI and you will know how much majority of ICO investor make just by hodling sometimes there's a coin that could increase thousands percent of initial price and it's such a big profit considering that many investors are putting big money into it.
But I think that your question "serious profit" is just a lil bit irrelevant, it's not about hodling that make you earn profit but about selecting a good project.

Yes i did i bought ethereum while price was 300$ then after its reached 1500$ even some other coins like Coss reached 2$ by holding it was tradign fro 0.20 $ . Still  lots of coins i got profit on previous pump . Now holding lots of coins bought lots like TRX, EOS , NEO, ADA in last dump still i am holding will keep that till this year end . EOS and TRX mainet has to be launched so instead of investing short term read news and invest after atleast 6 months you will make good profit . Now IOST is another good investment in this bearish market.

Yeah, definitely depends on the coin you'll hold and what you perceive in the project and you'll realize holding is the real thing and your prospect month with profit is just within reach. Also, do keep buying in dips and not in peak, just trust the graph and your guts even it's hard.

Not all who holds 6-12months gain big profit because its still depends to the coin that you will going to hold. Also, you need to invest big capital in order for you gain big because 6-12months is a little long time for me to do trading.

the most popular coin for HOLD is bitcoin. I held it for more than 1 year and made a profit. also kept Ethereum. with other coins on harder, because they grow much and they need to sell. HODL makes sense of either the top coins or the most unknown coins.

There are only 2-3 Altcoin from 10 Altcoin that experience price increases. And it all goes back to the Developer and the coin project. If you had been hodling Ethereum you would have made a substantial return. 6 months ago it was trading at $300 and 12 months ago it was under $100.

I managed to earn on IOTA and Stellar, but these were insignificant profits since I too quickly withdrew the money and then regretted it very much.
