Both are rulers in crypto market and both are different projects but in long term ETH will reach high price but as of  now BTC is the best so investment depended by yours

I would split my budget in half and buy both. Because both are good. It's hard to make predictions and guess which one of these two coins will be more successful. But if you want to choose one thing, I would definitely choose Bitcoin.

I would choose 50 ETH, 3 BTC and with the rest of the money I would buy altcoins from the top 50 in equal shares. So you can diversify risks.

I would also choose the strategy like this: diversify funds between BTC and ETH, but I would also invest 30% of the rest amount into top 10 alts, and 20% in promising ICO.

That's too short of a timeline to know what will happen. Both could potentially be lower by then. I like eth for long term hold.

It is difficult to say, becaude both of these coins are good in their own way. But I would take ETH, I think in the short term, it has more growth potential. But in the long term, I think it's better to hold BTC

Right at this stage of the market I am divided. But I think Ethereum has more chances to make more profit at the end of the year than BTC. This year there may be some happenings that would raise the price of ETH pretty much.

i dont know current ETH/BTC rate but i can honestly say that if trend changes ethereum is going to increase bitcoinwise. so buying ethereum instead of bitcoin has more advantages. if i were you i would choose to buy ethereum.

If I had such a sum of money, I would distribute it between the top 10. Most of the Bitcain and Ethereum, and everything else in equal parts in other coins. This is a lower risk, and a great opportunity to get a profit.

i will do 70 % buy btc, 30 % buy eth

I see you are just thinking about the purchase. Why wouldn't you halve the sum of your investments and purchase bitcoin and ETH? It's less risky strategy which helps you to save your money and sleep well!

 If we will base it on the growth of the coins, bitcoin is good for holding than ether. Price of bitcoin fluctuates very high and its dominance in the market is 41%. High dominance means more coin value, more profit correct me if I'm wrong. But what I suggest is that divide it equally for btc and ether because we cannot predict which coin will excel. It is the safer option.

Don't purchase anything. Wait for another bottom! Now many experts say there will be a new bottom at $4500! Bitcoin is very unstable, and few people purchase it. The rise won't be soon!

I want to say, Bitcoin is more unstable than Ethereum. And I think that's what drives all the exchanges. If you see bitcoin dropping others too. So I think bitcoin should be the best place for it. And both coins must coexist actually when they grow or fall together, you'll get a profit if the cryptomarket increases.

I believe in both and want to buy both because these have some good potential for giving good profit current market behavior is also very good and positive just because of this having these both can give some good profit but surely you need to have eye on market for more good and better response.
