It may, but I think it won't overcome 20k soon. Maybe in next decades yes, but not now. For now it's better to long hold in BTC and ETH and short hold in coins of good projects and participate in bounties of really perspective startups.

If Bitcoin returns $ 20,000 then the market will be pump and altcoin also pump or continue sideways.
I see with the current situation can bitcoin will be more than $ 20,000 in two months.

BTC reached 20000 last year and that means it will reach again 20000 and more. only wait and see the last days of this year (2018). it will reach 25000 to 40000$ and other coins will raise too.

In my opinion you can check in the market Bitcoin is very controlled and there are no such major dumps happening in the market. Even market cap of Bitcoin is kept increasing and this time it won't increase it's price very fastly compared to previous year. Btc can do it again.

Most likely it will happen on the 3rd to 4th quarter of this year as you notice the trend every year, and then gradually reach another ATH on or before December.
As of today, its too early to say that the price may go beyond 10k - 15k. Its even hard to break the 10k resistance. As if there's someone is suppressing the price to gain full control of it. I doubt the whales.

And yes today it is on correction and it's hard to assume that it will go beyond $10k - $15k but it's possible.
We have to wait as the positive predictions said that it can go up but there's no distinct time when it will happen.
Whales are always being pointed out but it's just a normal thing in the market.

It may look impossible at the current status of bitcoin but trust it, bitcoin is going to return to $20,000. A lot whales are unloading BTC when it gets to 10K mark it seems.  So we should prob see a few more of these waves as new market participants are entering the market and veterans are ready to cash out.
