Its not a certainty that another crypto will replace BTC , but it can not stay at the top forever,The crypto market is so unpredictable, and another coin might come up sooner or later with better technology and an in demand product and rise up, This coin has been thought to be ETH, but cannot be said that its for sure will take over, time will tell what will happen

I think no one will be able to replace bitcoin. a lot of new crpto are present, who have the same mission that is to compete even replace bitcoin, but it is not in line with expectations

I think ethereum quite can compete with bitcoin and as a result overthrow him from the first place. At least because at ethereum continuous progress, and bitcoin marks time.)

it is too impossible for now. because all alternative coins are only rely on the bitcoin. but we can't deny the truth that the ethereum, one of the alternative coins who always nect after the bitcoin can have a good atch in the bitcoin. when you look and observd the rate changing of ethereum. it is stable than the bitcoin. when all coins are in red. sometimes the ethereum are in green color.

I myself first said: I think the most likely (and inevitable) replacement for Bitcoin is Decred. Its total amount is only 21 million. The place of Decred's technological innovation lies in its PoW + PoS hybrid mechanism, which solves a huge consensus governance problem in the process of decentralization in blockchain technology. In the general PoW mechanism, power is often controlled by miners with large computing power, but the influence of users is relatively weak. In Decred's network, the PoW miner's excavated block must also be verified by the PoS to become a legitimate block recorded in its blockchain, so the power of those miners with large computing power is limited by the user, and thus achieved Balancing the impact of miners and users on the entire network, Decred can be said to have made a big contribution to the entire decentralization process. In another, Decred is currently implementing Lightning Network, anonymity, and smart contracts in the future. From the official development road map, the Decred team is interested in building Decred into a self-sufficient decentralized autonomous organization (DAO).

Decred had previously performed a hard fork on the main chain with this user referendum, and there was no (and no) split chain.

There are many cryptocurrencies out there, the fluctuation is wide and big. There’s a need of a coin that uses a process to stabilize its value.

No doubt that there is no other cryptocurrency or altcoin that can supersede the bitcoin. At least not for the next 5-10 years. Of course there are many rising competitors like Ethereum, ripple and litecoin.

Do you agree???

I agree with what you say, now maybe even another 20 years no one can replace boitcoin, bitcoin is the first coin in cryptocurrency, bitcoin is the mother of all coins and bitcoin price becomes benchmark for other coins, of course it is not will be replaceable. Indeed now many altcoins that have good profits, but will not be able to replace bitcoin.

it is possible but right now I don't think there is any cryptocurrency who can replace bitcoin as it is still the king of crypto and as of now the value is again heading to pumping again.

If bitcoin goes up, so do the alt coins. What if bitcoin disappears and everything is suddenly related to fiat - will we only then know what these coins actually are worth in fiat?

I think that this will not happen. Moreover, I believe that in a year or two Bitcoin will strongly break out ahead of the other altcois. The
dominance of Bitcoin will again be about 80% after the Lighting Network launch

I think the time will come when ETH will be the leader, and the bitcoin will go to the second place. Maybe some other coin will take a leading position! This is a crypto and everything is possible here.

Bitcoin is the mother coin of all crypto in digital currencies. Also, bitcoin is the most famous and expensive coin nowadays and I think, because of the status of bitcoin, no one coin can replace bitcoin.

In my own opinion, No coin has proved itself worthy to replace bitcoin. Even the so called Ethereum is just trying. With time i think with time we should see a coin which will overthrone bitcoin. But for now NONE.Thanks

Bitcoin is the mother of all coins and I don't think any coin will replace it, it is widely used in different transactions and I think bitcoin will be forever the top coin in the market some are just next to it

Replacing bitcoin will be tough. I don't think any altcoin can replace bitcoin, because bitcoin is the mother of all cryptocurrency and it contains more than quarter of the whole market cap. It will be very hard.

Replace Bitcoin is no longer possible. Because it is impossible to become the first cryptocurrency, this place is forever occupied. Bitcoin has long been not the best cryptocurrency in terms of technology, but this is the first cryptocurrency and for the market this is more important.

it is indeed that there's a lot of competitors when it comes to the place of bitcoin. altcoins right now are no chance of replacing its place. maybe if the crypto world will develop more, there is an altcoin to be develop for sure, that can replace bitcoin.

I doubt it. I don't think that we will find a replacement for bitcoin as such, maybe some decent competitors but bitcoin is what it is, if we see any others challenge the market leader they will have other uses and functions that bitcoin does not have, ETH for example is not like bitcoin at all.

I have that feeling that bitcoin is here to stay, I also think that there will be more crypto's that will survive, a lot more developing is coming with the good coins and tokens but also a lot off shit will just die.

Bitcoin is also still under developing!

Maybe someday will come and there is a altcoin that will replace bitcoin. We don't know what will happen to the crypto market value. But the chances is less percent, we all know that bitcoin will be on the top and it will lead.

the current status of Bitcoin cannot be shaken, but if Bitcoin has always been such that there is not much innovation and change, I think it will be overtaken in the near future, although Bitcoin's strength is very strong.

Crypto is so new and unpredictable that the scenario of replacing bitcoin from the first, main place is quite possible and is not a fantastic option.
