Well as for me i doubt it, because bitcoin is spearheading all other coin, so it would be very difficult for the developers to set up a coin that will be more better than bitcoin, aside that too bitcoin has gone a long way in the crypto market it has made a good reputation and it has thousands and million supporters too so for the developers to set up a new coin for people to patronize will not be easy even in the next 20yrs to come because it serves as a benchmark or anchor to other coins.

As of now there's no coin in the market that can surpass Bitcoin because until now Bitcoin is the most trusted coin in the market even though it faces a lot of problems. But of course there's no permanent here so I think there will be a time that a coin will replace bitcoin by having more advantage and good blockchain. Ethereum is one of the coins that has the possibilities to beat Bitcoin but it takes time for that coin to be on top of world's most known coin.

This is not possible because bitcoin has already gained much popularity and has more user base... It will remain the number one crypto currency forever.

Any altcoin or Bitcoin can be replaced, only the development of blockchain and the future of digital money exist! Bitcoin is just a blockchain technology success! Without blockchain, we have nothing!

There are many cryptocurrencies out there, the fluctuation is wide and big. There’s a need of a coin that uses a process to stabilize its value.

No doubt that there is no other cryptocurrency or altcoin that can supersede the bitcoin. At least not for the next 5-10 years. Of course there are many rising competitors like Ethereum, ripple and litecoin.

Do you agree???
maybe for now there is no one can replace it but we all can not know for sure it all because it is one of the investment risk by using crypto currency

I think that this is quite possible, but it is difficult to predict the change in market trends. Many altcoins are very dependent on Bitcoin and its fall can lead to a similar outcome for some altcoins..
exactly that from all altcoin will fall if the bitcoin is falling then this is impossible if from some altcoin will replace bitcoin and ethereum. essentially the work contract altcoin is held by ethereum and is almost entirely dependent on exchanges and transactions through ethereum, and bitcoin itself is the mother of all altcoin was first created for crypto and this will continue to grow to supply altcoin.

yes there will be no substitute for btc but for the future it will probably never replace btc forever, because btc is the first crypto available and is a creator of all altcoins, and even altcoins are rising and falling in price depending on the btc price, and if btc is replaced by another altcoin then there will be altcoin that dies too

Grin Grin I think it will not be ever. You can not overtake unique coin. BTC is the main coin for crypto market. Now you may see, the market fluctuating but everything is happening based on BTC. When BTC rate up all coins price up and when BTC price down all alt coins price down. So how it overtake?? You may Say ETH which is the main competitor at this time. But you see the price difference of both coin $6500k / $450. So how i think that another alt coin may fail BTC. Don't alternative beside mother coin Wink

When we talk about replace, many factors comes to mind. Replacing Bitcoin in terms of price is possible and some coins on CMC are already looking towards that. But when it comes to usecase, Bitcoin is a store of value and to me I don't think any other cryptocurrency can come close to that. Looking from this angle, no altcoin can replace Bitcoin.

It is very difficult to speak of it. if everyone sees a good coin that exceeds the technology of bitcoin I think bitcoin will be replaced in the future. in this year many new coins are competing in the crypto market.

In my opinion Although there are so many coins that have great potential for now and that it is a bitcoin competitor for the future, but Bitcoin will stay on top of the list for the next few years, because I think Bitcoin will keep coming back and growing again with support the constant gained from people and of course the continuous deployment of popularity in the future.

For me Bitcoin will remain top to all even there's a lot of crypto have potential and can possible to have higher value and can have good future. Still Bitcoin will be best of the best to all, maybe they can beat Bitcoin in terms of technology. Part of the reason there are so many crpyto coins today is that many of them are built on Ethereum’s underlying technology, even relying on it entirely in some cases. For me that is the only advantages of others crypto, but Bitcoin will still cointinue growing in the future.

I don't think so. Bitcoin is the first cryptocurrency, and it's have the biggest market share. The only crypto, that can threat bitcoin is a true anonymous crypto like monero and maybe zcash.

No other cryptocurrency can replace bitcoin. They will always remain what we call them, altcoins which I believe means alternative coins. Bitcoin has been established to be the price regulator for other coins and none of them can rise beyond the regulator.

As means of payment bitcoin is so-so. And it has one more application - it's possible to buy any altcoin.
Just think what will happen with bitcoin, when absolutely any altcoin can be bought for fiat money?
It will go to the background. About candidates for the number 1 can be read in this topic

I think they can't replace bitcoin because it's the center of all digital money. Bitcoin is the king of all currencies in the market and it's growing every year. Many people invest bitcoin because they can really get a high profit.

Ripple should be included as competitor of Bitcoin in cryptocurrency. Also if there is a coin which has a circulating supply lower than Bitcoin and the usage is more adoptive to the public then maybe that is what we are looking for. But for now, there is nothing there to supersede Bitcoin.

In my own opinion, No coin has proved itself worthy to replace bitcoin. Even the so called Ethereum is just trying. With time i think with time we should see a coin which will overthrone bitcoin. But for now NONE.Thanks
