I don’t think Altcoins are only for day trading. The market is unpredictable there can be an Altcoin like Verge with bad news but its price is up or vice versa.

I think that altcoin is perfect for day trading. it is because the price changes experienced by altcoin is always so fast that the flow of price movement is very difficult to predict. therefore altcoin It is worth to be a short-term investment that is quite convincing. it's different when it becomes altcoin as a long-term investment, for me the nature and characteristics possessed by altcoin is not to be a long-term investment.

Some higher cap altcoins like ETH, BCH or LTC that can be traded with leverage are good for daytrading I suppose. But most of them are not because fees are too high.

90% of altcoins are scam thats why its not very healthy to keep every altcoin for long term but if u find any promising altcoin for long term that is going to be very usefull in future. U can invest there for long term.

Because they have a very high volatility and if you have enough capital and the skills you need to trade on the markets. You can make a lot of money every day.

only a few altcoins are good for future investments. and hold the long term. I think it is ethereum, Waves, LTC, NEO. as they move steadily but keep up. besides that I also see altcoin is very good for daily trading. due to very rapid price fluctuations.

Its not just for daily trading, its also for long term but long term not more than 6 months. If u have time check charts of altcoins from 10.10.17 - 10.03.18 U ll see that altcoins first going to top after that they are decreasing thats why u dont need to keep them more than 6 months.
