I think this is coming out of those who have been tired of waiting for the market when it will improve. if we think carefully to immediately sell the altcoin we have whether we have gained? in my opinion, trading as well as holding altcoins, it does not matter, since altcoins price will change every day, I think holding altcoins for long periods will be better Trading with alts can make you bigger profits than trading with BTC because the price range of ups and downs on alts is much bigger. Some alts could go several times up or down but BTC needs much more time to do it. So BTC is best for holding and alts are best for trading. But you can also make money off trading BTC if you do it at a right time. |

Altcoins can be good for day trading because you have many choice where you can just jump off after profiting to the current alt coin you have, You may actually lose money if you don't know what you are doing as exchange commission adds up.

Altcoins just have more price range intro day, that's why it's more profitable to trade altcoin than hold them for short term. But in long run, holder always win

Not all altcoins are reasonable for day exchanging.

It all depends on the season. If you day trade during bear market the probability you may get rekt is big. Eventually you will cutloss day by day until you get broke. 1 missed trade can eat all your help profit including some percentage of your capital. |

Not all of altcoin is for day trading. Like an altcoin that still fresh after the ICO finished and get listed on an exchange, usually the price that token will go down and it's not good for day trading, but it's good for long term trading because if you stored the tokens until the roadmap finish, the price will go up.
