Altcoin is good for trading because Altcoin price price has the potential to go up faster than Bitcoin. especially if we can choose a good Altcoin, we will get a big profit. so if we want to trade altcoin we see first the market condition altcoin it. and a lot of good altcoin at the moment, like Ethereum, Ripple, Litecoin, Dash, Bitcoin Gold And so on. we can trade a lot of Altcoin at once, to get more profit

I certainly wouldn't generalise the statement completely.  Perhaps "some" Altcoins are suitable, but there are certainly some alts that are worthy of being held longterm, for the benefits they give to the token holders.

Exchange tokens (eg. Kucoin, RKT), passive income tokens (loads to choose from), franchise tokens (eg. MWAT), and those that are almost ready to take off (eg. SAFEX) are worthy of being held onto, IMHO.

In any case, everyone can act as he sees fit. If you know the principles of technical analysis well, you can bet on day trading. If only a newcomer to the market, it is better to abandon such an option.

seems like you are confused.
compared to holding,doing a daily trading is a difficult task to begin with.
because it needs a lot of attention,research and other things to accomplish the trade unlike holding it.
also in term of profit,holding is way more better because it generates more profit from what we are doing in daily trade.
when holding it,we are focusing ourself to reach certain point and gaining a profit based on a bigger picture unlike daily trade.
in daily trade we are focusing to make a profit for every trade that we make.

I think, not as you think.
for example, I have altcoin that I hold for quite a long time. until now I have held it for almost a year. although every situation always changes the fox over its value itself.
there are other ways to make a profit, as you say. Short trades are the most effective for generating quick profits.
so you can do anything depending on what you are planning to invest or trade quickly.

not for day trading .. it should be hold for longterm bot for day trading..
trading is always risky: insted you should place the sell order or buy order at your prices. not intra day that can take weeks & months also to get your prices.

Imagine if you use bitcoin with a market cap of 149 billion you need a bulk buy and sell transactions to create a movement in the market and it needs ample of time to do it, whereby using  any alternative coins in a day trading is a better way because you can easily determine the  massive movement of a coin due to small market capacity.

The fact is that working with ALTs you have a huge field for maneuvers. Performing a large number of transactions can earn even in the falling market.

Well, everyone has different types of strategy and different ways of handling their coins
Some prefer to hold, some prefer to buy sell buy sell, it really depends on how the person trade style is

For me, altcoins is really for daily trading. I will just hold my bitcoin as it has the value to hold. But for altcoin like Eth, i will use it to invest in ICO or other project that have potential.
