Bonuses were in something like 25-40% for contributions over 50K usd. Private sale has been going on since early 2018, and some of it before. It started a while ago but the process of approving large contributions is very selective and not all contributors get approved for the private sale.

The vesting period is 6-12 months on some of the tokens.
