There are just too many variables and it is really difficult for new members to rank up.

Why the blood bath - my opinion.

Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

You joined the forum almost a year ago, so why are you now concern about ranking up?
If you had been active from August 2017 to December, probably you will be, at least, full member by now. So you didn't have interest in ranking up then, so, why now?

Just curious...

There are many possibilities for this, but i guess the main reason is, you know, money, and probably this account has been used by different person now. It is just a maybe or an if, i dont accuse this OP to be like what i have said, but the reaction that he had 1 year ago with now about ranking up is so different. So, i am just curious too.

This account is and always was mine... When i created it, I was just getting into cryptos. There were literally 0 things I could share on this forum back then and i did not want to just spam. I did not have any interest in ranking up as i was only a reader, nothing else. That has changed around January. Is that enough of an explanation? Smiley

As the title says, do you think it is too hard to get Merit?

No.

People tend to send Smerit to Sr. Members and above more often, even on a single comments, not just posts...

I'm not a senior member or above, but I've currently been merited 138 times.

But the Merit system might still prove to be too difficult sometimes, hindering the progression too much. On the other hand, the lower ranks actually do not limit the use of the forum...

You've answered your own question. Being a junior member does not hamper your ability to use the forum whatsoever. The only reason to get angry about the merit system is because it is hindering your ability to get paid to shitpost.

There is no need to write again and again on same old topic related to merit..... merit and merit.there is no need to change ,it is working with good speed.
You will not get any merit for this type of post. There is only one way to get merit, write quality post with some new or unique topic that will enhance the knowledge of members .

Hilarious that you would berate another member for spamming about merit, when you have started multiple threads complaining about merit.

YES,I accept it.But now I understood the point and value of merit system.I apologies for that old post.

For me yes its too hard to get Merit, but no work is easy' so if you work hard its not possible to get merit.. thats why you need to work hard to earn merit you need to post contructive or helpful..while you work hard you learning too.

According to you:

Oh common, I have put quite a lot of effort into the post and you are jsut a hater Sad( JK, well it is really easy to become jr. member can't argue with that, but that is not a bad thing though. The member is not that hard too, but requires some effort at least... Anyhow, i expect you getting the legendary status before merit system?

I can clearly see great effort in your writing, let’s see more effort:

Second of all, if you post high quality psot at a wrong time,

Is tehre any chance for the revision of the Merit system?

Well as i could see in the past, it was much easier fir higher ranked members to actually get Merit.
...
Oh my, you don't have the "GrumpyKitty" title just for the show ey? This post is meant for a discussion, not a one way thinking like yours. Different people have different opinions, i do not force my opinion on you and i take your opinion int oaccount.

Great careless writing effort! Keep it up!
