You are right , this is more of a marketing gimmick then that it is a real partnership. I believe the biggest winner in this is pornhub and not crypto/verge.

I think subscription rates with crypto will be more expensive than FIAT. Verge certainly take advantage fee of subscriptions, and there is a tx fee that we have to pay

This is really good news seeing as pornhub is a huge business that makes billions. With crypto payments being accepted that would mean that it offers more anonymity to the users and I know more and more people would want to use this. Although I am not sure if this is true, if it does turn out to be true then it is a great leap for cryptos and it will bring good things to the market
