well i withdrew .044 btc from freebitcoins.org to my wallet to see if the transaction will go thru. so far i havent gotten anything.  Am i suppose to be able to see the transaction pending in my wallet? cause im not right now and my blocks are up i beleive 139185 as it stands right now? can anyone tell me if its normal or a problem?

Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

Check if you see the transaction in block explorer first. If you don't see it there, it hasn't happened yet.

Sometimes can take several hours, especially if you didn't include any transaction fee.
