They say that day trading is a skill, so practicing should make you good at it right? How long someone from newbie to advanced should spend to be considered good?

In my opinion it is really long process, but even in case of big experience we should consider great role of luck and intuition in this duty...so it is nearly impossible to say about amounts of time which need to be spent trading.

In my own opinion, day trading is not a skill because anyone can invest in the market and start trading then become rich if they knew when to sell and invest a the right time in order to earn more profit.

Some people who earn and those who lose money. Good and bad concepts are subjective. Need a take three years for to get a stable income. I've heard this number from experts.

Day trading is a skill that you can master IF you can discipline yourself and remove emotion from your trades. It took me a few months to get to what I would consider "good" and hopefully in another few months I will be a lot better. I didn't do it alone though, I have been in a discord group talking with experienced traders. I seriously doubt I would be as far along as I am now if i hadn't joined. They have trading guidelines laid out that really help me make smarter choices and stay profitable. If your trying to learn to day trade by yourself it could take a long time to get good experience especially if you don't have a lot of free time. I definetely recommend joining a trading group, just stay away from pump and dump groups.

To me trading is more of an art and a journey of ones self.  Some technical skills are necessary but knowing yourself is an absolute must.  If you cannot handle your emotions all the skill in the world will not save you.

Every serious trader has rules regarding when to enter and exit a trade. Before entering a trade it is really helpful for you, if you write three numbers: the entry, the target and the stop. What you should know as a trader, when you trade currencies, is that you either need to take a very long-term view and ignore daily fluctuations, or day-trade and avoid overnight positions. There is nothing, not a system or rules that can guarantee you to succeed all the time. This is why it's important to have risk control as an essential part of every trader. The incapacity of managing losses is one of the worst things a trader can have.

You can take it easy if you do not have any troubles in life, trading with free mind in comfortable situations will make you focus on it. Focus is very important for anything if you expect a better result for it, in all sources we have to work hard and it will take your short time to get its benefits. Go crazy in trading once you learn to know about all the motions of market with fruitful decisions.

I believe that it takes at least one year to learn to see the development and behavior of the market, and who says that can do it in a week, it's a lie.

Most difficult aspect of trading, at least in my opinion, is being patient and the waiting for the best entries and exits. So it's a bit mastering your own mind, against all the knowledge about trading you think you have.

You might need a lot of time in the beginning if you are new in trading. You need time to learn the skills, charts and information about the coins. You need to learn about techniques, stop losses and other analytical skills. Once you have enough experience in trading, then it will not take much of you time and you will just place good orders. However, if trading is your full time work and you are involved in day trading, then you will have to spent many hours in trading to get as better profit as possible.

I don't think everyone here feels that they are masters, maybe all of them are looking for knowledge and want to learn how to move cryptocurrency prices and find ways to become a professional trader in order to determine the right time to buy and sell coins.

in 2014 - 2015 I traded. I personally started to be able to read charts, make direction predictions and use indicators after 6 months. maybe including slow. but I can make my own profit without the help of others. said to be proficient, in my opinion still not. because if the comparison maybe 70% has the right prediction. but for now, I'm like a beginner. because prices can't be predicted easily like last year.

Well, you can still make the 70% prediction now if you dont use a single analysis i.e if you use both the technical and fundamental analysis you'll get the best result cause the technical are not suit for this current market but the fundamental price analysis is good. However, you year 2016 price movement for your analysis and you'll thank me later.

One of the most common mistakes new traders usually do is that, they get to excited. that excitement can lead you to wrong decisions. Trading without stops may lead you to unlimited losses, that's why you have to know your maximum level of risk. We all make mistakes, but if you reflect on your past mistakes you'll be able not to repeat them again. There are a lot of factors that affect your trading, that's why a psychological self-test to see whether you are in a mood or not to start trading, would be really helpful every time before you decide to trade. Memory helps us learn from our successes and failures, that is the reason why keeping a diary of your trades will help you grow and become a better trader.

In trading, We need to put aside our emotions when we enter the trade because our emotions make us greedy at the same time fearful so we cant decide a proper strategy or execute well in middle of the trade. So before we enter the trade be sure that our emotions is intact and our system or strategy is need to follow. We dont need one big profits and lose 5 times in a row after. We need consistent winning profit even its small profit. Mastering trading is good source of income and can give you financial freedom.

In my opinion, a beginner needs at least six months to learn to understand the basics of trading, especially since the crypto-currency market is just beginning to develop actively

Learning does not finish. As far as financial market is concerned, you would be learning day by day. Practice makes perfect and you need to be practicing different strategies in this market before picking the one that works for you

There is no fix period of that as everyone has different level of comprehension.
It depends on how serious and devoted we are, if we want to learn, we need to study what we are doing and love it so we can give
time without complaining, the journey towards success is not always easy.

Exactly like that. More practice - higher is your mastery and profits, you can understand most of things in trading only by your own experience.

It depends how fast we learn from our mistakes and how can we accept loosing trades as a normal
part of the trading process. Patience, discipline and mental toughness are the most important attributes
of a good trader.  It is very individual how much time is needed to become a successful trader.

Yes you’re right, experience is the final thing you need. Your level of experience says a lot about how you’re able to make use of your skills in trading.

Just take for example, outside of this after you graduate from school and searching for a job your will usually come across a lot of job vacancies stating that they need someone with a level of experience in that area, they don’t usually talk about skills.
