It looks like the bearish trend is slightly fading away. Alts are going up, but BTC has been going sideways for some weeks now. With Consensus coming up in May, what are your thoughts about BTC for short - medium term?

Also after the consensus will Bitcoin get increased media attention or will it go down after that?

Consensus 2018 has no effect. Expos/conventions are way over-hyped as catalysts for price.

Like I've been saying, this breakout in the low-$7,000s, confirming an Adam & Eve bottom on the 1-week chart, set the stage for the current bull trend. In the medium term, the trend should continue. A proper bull trap should extend past the double top in the $11,000s. It's also possible that it's not a bull trap (but I wouldn't plan on it).

In the short term, everyone and their grandmother is probably watching this trendline. Bears will probably attempt a selloff soon, but I think they'll fail:

My prediction for the short term in the next two or three months is that bitcoin will surpass once again five figures and will reach a price higher than 10000 dollars and my prediction by the end of this year is not as positive, I think were going to see a price close to 15000 dollars, the reason of why I give such a low predictions is because I do not really think we're going to see a huge growth until the next year.
