I see the project does not focus on one area, it has diversity for income from all physical data. It therefore has a competitive edge. But I'm still wondering about the quality of the data. Must someone be responsible for evaluating the quality of such data?

To ensure data quality:
The verification process is decentralized manage. As the blockchain makes the data immutable, the matching is led on data that can’t be manipulated or changed.
To ensure as well the quality and the good behavior of the users, a quality score will be attributed. This will allow to guide the collection and link the data initialization or verification to the level of trust allocated.
This two process of decentralized verification and the quality score of the collectors ensure the accuracy and non manipulation of the data.

I like both the project and the team very much. And find it really interesting to be paid for sharing reliable data. Wish you all good luck! And I am sure this project will be a success! Smiley

Looks interesting. Does testnet already in place?

Dataeum’s Data Collection app is currently under development stage. The Dataeum app will be based on app that has already been developed, which the purpose was to test our product towards the community, and to prove it scalability. The algorithm regarding the collection process and back-office that have been developed will be the base of the new architecture.

However, the team have already tested the solution in London, Barcelona and Paris. In these cities, while comparing data displayed on these maps and what they collect, it appears that 28 to 40% of the physical stores were not even displayed. You can read more about this from page 12 of the whitepaper: https://dataeum.io/white-paper.pdf

So if I correctly understood you are working on making the data validation process more lightweight. And the data storage more lightweight too by getting rid from traditional blockchain solution.

✅Greetings everyone! This Saturday we have a lot of stuff to share with you — this is the Weekly Update.

💎 Dataeum’s advisory board keeps getting bigger, which can only mean we’re on the right path. Justin Jovanovich (https://www.linkedin.com/in/justin-jovanovic-7a48b8b6) and Edgar Kampers (https://www.linkedin.com/in/edgarkampers/), welcome aboard.

💎 We don’t mean to be bragging, but as you may know, only very few projects get a maximum rating on ICOBench (https://icobench.com/ico/dataeum) or TrackICO (https://www.trackico.io/ico/dataeum/). See for yourself!

💎 On the tech side of things — our Smart Contract is now live. Right now the team is working hard to build an MVP 2.0. You should also know that our bounty program will soon be ready! Expect news by the end of the next week Smiley

💎 Those in the White List will soon receive an invitation to the Private Sale. We’ve recently made contact with some of the most influential crypto funds, whose names will remain undisclosed for now.

💎 And finally, if you didn’t see our exclusive interview with Anders Larsson, you’re missing out. Catch up here: https://bit.ly/2IQKnq3

Hey Dataeum community!🙌

In 2018, you can’t have data without blockchain. And vice versa. ✨

Why? Check our blog 👉 https://medium.com/@dataeum/how-blockchain-will-change-the-way-we-generate-and-store-data-58669fbefabb

Something as complicated as a  “data generation platform” begs to be explained as plain as possible.

We know you have your questions. Please, treat yourself to the answers we’ve got.✨

This is Dataeum’s F.A.Q., Part II:

Hey Dataeum community! 👋😊

Do you ever wonder where all these new technologies come from? 🤔
We hope you do, because today we’re offering you a little insight into the history of Big Data.

Despite the term itself being relatively new, data dates back to as far as the last era. Back then it was about calculating, analyzing and cataloging data about the contents of libraries or the number of troops. As the information volume substantially increased, these processes got more complicated as well.

The 19th century became a turning point for the ways people registered and stored data, considering the commonly known "Avalanche of Numbers" in the years 1820-1840. Along with writing and painting, it became possible to record data in the form of sound, using vinyls and magnetic tapes.

20th century marked the transition from analog media to digital:
1956 — IBM introduces the first hard drive that weighs approximately 1 ton;
1982 — Sony and Philips produce the first optical disc;
1989 — The term “Data mining” emerges.

In this day and age, the volume of Big Data keeps increasing exponentially. Brand new technologies emerge to allow for its collection, analysis and storage. It also happens to be the **cornerstone of Dataeum** — the first collaborative and decentralized platform for physical data generation.✨

Hey everyone! 👋😊 There’s something you won’t get away from this Friday, and no, it’s not the start of the summer. It’s our Weekly Update.

💫We’re happy to let you know we’ve started working with Naviin Kapoor, a renowned ICO advisor who will help us with Marketing and Investor relations. Go ahead and check out his ICOBench profile: https://icobench.com/u/naviinkapoor

💫Our team is still hard at work crafting the MVP 2.0, something that most projects don’t even have in the first version. We want to make sure we’re ready to present you a viable product before you even consider investing.

💫As of now, we’re planning several meet-ups with potential investors and working on a strategic partnership that should remain undisclosed until the right moment comes.

💫Also, that bounty campaign is just about to get started, so you should really keep your eyes on our Telegram chat — https://t.me/dataeum

💫And finally, we have just updated our website along with the White Paper and One Pager with all the info you need. Make sure to follow at least one of these links:
