Hi Dataeum community! 👋😊

First of all, we’d like to thank you for your support and for making the project bigger everyday.🙌

Many things are going very well for Dataeum. The team is currently negotiating with most of the largest map companies to figure out where and how to scale the data collection as soon as the ICO is over. We are also preparing our pre-listing on two reliable and renowned exchange platforms. We’ll make sure you are the first to hear the news!✨

Also, the team is currently in touch with several VC funds, family offices and investor pools all around the world. The development process is going great as Dataeum’s potential rises, based on a profitable business model and a high volume of transactions, which effectively stimulate the Blockchain community’s interest. However, this process is also taking more time than we’d expected.

For this reason, we have decided to move the start of our Pre-ICO until the 20th of August.

💥Here is the new roadmap:

Pre-ICO Start Date: August 20
ICO Start Date: September 24
ICO End Date: October 21

How you are going to decide the collection value i.e. worth of the data?

Hey there! Thanks for the question. The value of the data is determined via algorithms that factor in the follwing:

- Gross domestic product (GDP) and hourly average wage in the area concerned
- Demand and rarity
- Online availability and accessibility
- Data licensing market value
- Hourly average wage in the area

You can read more on page 10 of the whitepaper: https://dataeum.io/white-paper.pdf

Thanks. is it yet to decide that which factor will contribute how much, in percentage?

Sorry for late reply.
Yes, this is not decided yet. However, with regards to the percentage each data collector receives. The first collector, who initiated the data, will obtain 70% of the collection value and the second collector, who verified the data, will have the remaining 30%.  Only 2 users, but the first user is rated on the validity and accuracy of the data collected.

Updates on the implementation of the pre ico that will begin on 20 August, long enough for preparation, in this case the team will have more chance in rearranging the program.

1 ETH = 12,000 XDT. The team plan to list on exchanges 1 to 2 months after the token sale closes.

"Companies spend a lot of time effort and resources setting up their businesses. Challenges come from every side including from internal sources. Being aware of what is happening in the business and outside is of paramount importance in keeping challenges manageable and opportunities attainable. Many companies have a distribution network which means they have more risks to be aware of."

Hello Dataeum supporters!
Every week we're trying to give you the most insights into the development of our platform.
Yes, today is the day of the Weekly Update.

Most importantly, we've changed the token sale dates:
• Pre-ICO — August 20
• ICO — September 24

If you've been following our previous Medium posts, don't forget to check out the series of Use Cases, which will help you better understand our message. The latest one you can find here: https://medium.com/@dataeum/dataeum-use-case-3-5aad3f3da9eb

You might as well want to check out the latest interviews with our CEO, Charly Pham:
1) https://www.occurrency.com/home/2018/6/14/interview-charly-pham-dataeum
2) https://sebastienbourguignon.com/2018/06/20/portraitdestartuper-dataeum-charly-pham-dataeum-startup-frenchtech, for those of you who speak French.

Apart from that, we're still in the midst of negotiations with the largest map companies and a lot of private investors. A working prototype is being developed at full speed as well. Announcements will be made soon.

As a bonus, we attended the Chain Accelerator program at Station F, where we met the entire French blockchain ecosystem and made some new partners! You can find a picture from the event below.

We can’t help but notice how fast Dataeum community is growing everyday! We’re extremely grateful for your support and faith in our project. And we, in our turn, would like to help you understand the direction we’re heading and how our solution will come to life.

First, we will implement the collection of stores into the blockchain. Then, Dataeum will improve its application and open the solution to all available physical data (roads, traffic signs and lights, benches etc.)

The collection of physical data worldwide will open new fields of data exploitation such as:

Census of all elements of the urban landscape: vegetation, cycle paths, electric terminals, waste bins, telephone booths, sanitary facilities, sports complexes, etc.;
Optimisation of journeys for people with reduced mobility by identifying all pavements and their characteristics;
Identifying visual failures of elements of the public space: damages in the roadway, uncollected garbage, defective ticket machines, etc. so that they can be fixed more quickly by local institutions.

A gamification model will be implemented in the app to boost mass adoption and incentivize the community to contribute. Loyalty and contributions will be rewarded with Dataeum Tokens (XDT).

If you have any questions regarding any aspect of our project, please head to the official Telegram chat:

There is a popular opinion that as technology advances, privacy disappears as a phenomenon. And not without reason: a constant Internet connection, geolocation services and social networks don't exactly help to hide from the public. However, privacy, as we understand it, is only about 150 years old. For 3,000 years, cultures have nearly always prioritized convenience and wealth over privacy.

Most homes didn't even have walls separating rooms until the development of brick chimney, which needed support beams (c. 1500 AD)

Silent reading was not popular until the Church mandated confessions for the masses; the concept of private salvation ushered in a new habit of silent learning and contemplation. Silent reading would become popular with non-elites ~500 years later when books were cheap enough for individual ownership (c. 1215)

Beds used to be extraordinarily expensive; many homes only had a single large bed that was shared with the entire family and guests. Sex with others in the room was common (c.1700)

Information about citizens was often public, including the first American census. Even though the post office had introduced the first information privacy laws in the 19th century, postcards (without envelopes) were cheaper, and therefore often more popular. The Right to Privacy was coined in 1890, inspired by fears of the camera. (1900s)

When AT&T offered a $30 premium service that allowed users to opt-out of browser tracking for ad targeting, few users took it. This portends a future where most people will increasingly choose ever more invasive tracking in exchange for money, health advice, and entertainment. (2015)

Hey Dataeum Community! 👋😊

Physical data is used by a variety of businesses and individuals daily.

Despite its importance, it remains difficult to collect and qualify.

How come? See our newest Medium article:

Data production is growing exponentially, but only a minimal percentage is currently being analyzed, used, or monetized. Dataeum has an original idea that "improves" data quality, " a market that is now valued at more than $ 3 trillion, and a gold mine for large corporations and governments.
