Will collecting data from these establishments not jeopardize the privacy of the data to be collected? Should the Mobile Application be installed in each establishments to be collected the physical data?

Dataeum is dealing with the physical data generation, thus no personal data is collected. It's like the data that is being used for Google Maps.

The mobile app doesn't have to be installed in the establishment of the physical location whose data that you are collecting. Anyone can participate in the collection and verification of the data as long as they have the mobile app.
Data is collected through the mobile application and validated in a 2 step process:
◉ Collector 1: first data input
◉ Collector 2: data verification

Each collector receives a quality score to maintain a high level of reliability. The verified data is then made accessible on the decentralized marketplace and regularly updated to keep it accurate.

Guys, tell me, please, how is it planned to use your Dataeum in reality, are there any specific applications already? I recently saw in YouTube video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DC8lqSYPXUQ&feature=youtu.be, where the guy buys coffee and paying with crypto Gobyte. When are you planning to do something like that?

While that is an interesting video and a nice use case for that specific cryptocurrency, what  Dataeum really brings is a solution that is able to generate reliable data on a market suffering from the lack of accuracy and harvesting regarding the physical data :
-at least 70% of the physical data over the world are missing from online listings (maps and other online directories, website...etc)
-at least 50% of the retailers in the US display inconsistent or missing information on online listings
-only 8% of the PIN placement are correct on Facebook.

Dataeum is first of all the only one being able to gather 100% of all global physical data. As well, its solution using crowdsourcing linked to the blockchain make it possible to verify 100% of the data gathered. Hey there and thank you for your questions.

Dataeum aims to become a reference for all market players dealing with physical data, enabling them to drastically reduce the data acquisition cost by using one trusted provider. To become this reference, one must be able to prove transparency on the way data is generated.
The blockchain brings this transparency and accuracy as all data collected are stored in it and the validation of each data is realized through a decentralized process.
To ensure data accuracy, the collector will get a “quality score” for his or her collection actions. The more collectors initiate, update and verify data correctly, the higher their “quality score” will be. A higher quality score leads to a higher level of “trust”, and thus a quicker reward and attractive incentives. This score is unique to Datateum due to the innovative Proof of Trust technique used to ensure  the verification of 100% of the data collected. To prevent abusive or fraudulent behavior, the quality score will also be taken into consideration to determine which collector will carry out the action. Also, an incorrect collection can lead to a retroactive decrease of the collector’s quality score.

In regards to your second question, one of the main features offered by Dataeum is the decentralized marketplace. It aims to democratize access to all physical data in the world. In addition to that, it offers XDT token holders the following possibilities:

🔸LICENSING of the data for use and exploitation
🔸ACQUISITION of the data ownership exploitation (DOE)

The licensing (or rental) of the data will be addressed to different types of market players, like maps, private companies, urban planning companies or even local authorities. In order to exploit the data available on the marketplace, these players (or data acquirers) will have to license (rent) its use. The licensing price will be calculated according to a market value, which depends on the type of data concerned (name, geolocation etc.), use (consultation, one-time etc.) and average rental cost in the area.
The platform will thus propose all available attributes for each physical data: type, date of collection/update, exact location etc.
From the platform, data acquirers will be able to specify their needs and directly obtain the desired data.
The decentralized marketplace establishes a link between the collection on the mobile app and the availability of the data to the market players. The revenues generated by data rental will be reused to finance new collections, verifications and updates. Dataeum will also charge a commission to ensure proper functioning of the network and its development.
