So yes, its real. Big government is here to destroy the anonymity of bitcoin.

What can and will we do about ? For example, Im running a pretty big mining operation, is there anything I can do with it to boycott/in any way obstruct their work ?

How can we decentralise the bitcoin foundation as we know it, they are in NO position of descision making, yet they seem to making some pretty big ones, while I and many other miners and users who actually ARE the bitcoin community do not agree with this !

If one can not confer upon another a right which he does not himself first possess, by what means does the state derive the right to engage in behaviors from which the public is prohibited?

o rly?

Why should there be an exception? Just think of them as a really big cooperation.  Cheesy
Coinvaluation should be able to do business with that cooperation shouldn't it?

But you don't have to do business with the government, so the free market lives on.

With the proposal, only the address changes. Instead of using a bitcoin address directly, you use a sort of a super-address, which can be used to generate a infinitely long stream of regular addresses. (https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/BIP_0032)

For us as users not much changes, once BIP32 has been implemented.

Government are the antithesis of free market. Government's decisions are enforced by sheer force, they are not based on voluntary exchanges.

Making profits because your customers are forced to be your customers not fit within a free market paradigm.

Actually they won't do business with government, they will do business with customers who are forced by the government to do business why them.

And it should appear very wrong for any person which think free market is something valuable.

yes sure wtv

but the foundation is ( or should be ) the voice of the community, and should be actively pointing out how Coin Validation wont do any good for anyone

it wont stop money laundering , they keep telling us " don't worry all you have to do is mix your coins and you are safe " outrageous!

it wont do any good, in fact it will most likely always red flag innocent people. Because innocent  people will think their coins are good ( after all they got them legitimately ) and always let criminals through because they know how easy it is to by bass coin validation

its as clear as day!

you have to be stupid to think coin validation is good FOR ANYONE! its total CRAP and it must be stopped

I am soo mad the foundation is not backing 92% of the community

I was imprecise.

The US government will force merchants which sell stuff you'd like to buy to make business with CoinValidation which will going to force you to make business with CoinValidation if you want to buy stuff you'd like to buy.

bitcoin is not US property, its not the problem of the world, that they don't like it. So they adopt or get lost.

Is there anything substantial which would suggest that to be true?
