Are Alts About to Crash?

Bitcoin will not crash again, I believe the correction is done and its time to pump now, this is not a bull trap the market will continue to soar high this year. Altcoins will also survive no matter what the price of bitcoin, believe on great coins.

I don't think the correction is done. Now is correcting. After reaching 10,000 the bitcoin might go down imediately, but not lower than 6k. And every year you can hear of the news about altcoins crash, but actually nobody can predict. Prediction is dumb. Prediction leads you to buy or to sell to make some altcoins expensive or cheap. One of method to lead investors to buy or sell.

Some alts like ETH and LTC won't crash that easily. They are the most popular coins after bitcoin that is why many will be holding and continue using them even bitcoins pump up.

Maybe I do not really understand, but some of my friends just recommend to always collect as much bitcoin. Maybe also they are right, because I see only a few alt that have increased and I think as a beginner is very difficult to choose a potentially good alt in the future. For now I only hold bitcoin and alt popular only.

Collecting alts are not just the thing you should do but consider details to avoid being scammed. Some collect coins that may have POTENTIAL and not just coins all over the crypto market.
Some are following alts for months or years before actually collecting them because they believe that alts will be worth valuing for in the future.

And haven't you already bought enough in Jan-Feb? The truth is the most of people are afraid to buy when they open coinmarketcap and see everything is red... They think this downtrend will never end, BTC will reach $1 and stop there forever.
This won't happen, if someone here really believes in this worst-case scenario.

I think now there is a better situation in the market for altcoins, The market is blue, so it looks very pretty, I do not believe that alts will crash and I just feel like holding ETH because of me Surely ETH will be worth something in the future.

For now I hold only 40% of alts and the remaining 60% of Bitcoin. The pricehike now may not still be the bullish but just a temporary bull I think.Maybe good for a week run only then after that it has greater possibility to go back down. But I have observe also that there are many altcoins dependent to btc’s price.

Yeah, for me the whole market of shitcoins are about to crash, I cannot say exactly when but I do can say there is no market for such number of senseless projects.

Exception will be only exception, I mean, we will have likely 10 succeed coins, few tokens and that's it.

Alts are surging at this moment specially those altcoins who are in the top list of CMC. But I don't think it will long lasts since altcoin price depends upon the bitcoin. If ever, there is a possibility that 50% of the alts will crash. As of now, let us cherish this moment that the market return back to its peak and the color green dominates most of the exchanges.

Alts won't crash soon. Altcoins won't crash until Bitcoin starts to take over again, making everyone flood their altcoin money into bitcoin to get in on the boom. And we're probably a few months or maybe even half a year out from the start of any real bitcoin boom.

Alts have been crashing systematically against Bitcoin for the past 3months, I don't see Ethereum or Ripple crashing further.
Rather, alts are more likely to gain against the Bitcoin or sustain their present rate.

Alts just following the major crypto just like bitcoin and ethereum, if the price of ethereum and bitcoin to the altcoin will be the same and it doesn't get any decrease or something else and the price will be following bitcoin and ethereum. Bitcoin and ethereum has dominated the majority of altcoins right now.

I see that we've finally entered a bullish phase (not sure how long this is going to last). I think it will be good for May pending any kind of FUD. June is the adsense FUD.

But anyway, I've read some articles that say that alts are making a comeback and money is pouring into alts... but these same articles caution that experts think that soon money will be pouring into bitcoin from alts. They say the infusion of money into alts is only temporary.

I'm sure most of you have seen that when BTC rallies too fast, alts crash. I was wondering if you guys think that a fast BTC rally is in the immediate future?

Are you hodling alts or are you going to go into BTC to ride out the BTC pump, then buy all the crashed alts?

Of course, you made a mistake with the forecast of the bull market, and the alt is a very good and most important useful alternative to bitcoin. They win in many respects, only their abundance confuses people and forces them to diversify their portfolio.

I think the prices will go up again soon. I see a very good buying opportunity right now, and I do not think prices will fall much more. Whalers will not allow a greater fall.

Its not about the current price but the future of the altcoin. The market will have a lot of rise and falls and if you are looking for a long term investment and hodl-ing you should consider coins with strong fundamentals,strong and determined team and posibility for future use of the coin/token. I'm talking 5 years, 10 years even. A coin/token/project should solve a real world issue and must be ahead of the competition in the sphere to have a chance for a long term survival. Any product that combines those features and has good coin economic should survive any bear market.

I'm sure most of you have seen that when BTC rallies too fast, alts crash. I was wondering if you guys think that a fast BTC rally is in the immediate future?

 I don't see any reason why altcoins will crash once btc rallies up. BTC is the pilot coin and whoever is leading the rally should bring the rest with it. I think once BTC increases, ETH will rise, and so will altcoins. This is just based on my observation. There may be other technical explanations about this but I'm not a technical type of person though.

Every time Bitcoin falls steeply, alts take a similar hit too. This has been observed over the past few years. The moment we see market red, everyone begins to panic and selling their coins out of impatience. By doing this, they become a part of the dump and alts begin to take hit too. Alts are the ones which suffer the most every time such a scenario arises in the market.
Hence, it is highly recommended that you do not panic and stay calm and composed.

Not if their developers are maintaining them. Some altcoins can crash but not all of them. The best will withstand in time. Sad to say some developers leave their old alts to make new ones to make another profit.
