I bilieve that in the future crypto currency will not replace fiat money as mode of payments in the future. Why? Because this two currency have a unique combinations that make our life more secure and convenient transactions trough offline and online transactions.
1.Crypto currency is more secure and faster transactions than fiat money via long distance and transactions like sending money around the world crypto is fast, safe and more secure then fiat money in this case fiat money is not good and slow in long distance transactions.
2.Fiat money is more faster and more easier in hand to hanp, face to face transactions and offline transactions in this setuation crypto currency is not good.
This 2 reasons why crypto currency and fiat money will be a powerfull combination in the future.
When cryptocurrency boomed last year, the talk about crypto replacing fiat had been in hype. I agree with you that cryptocurrency will not replace fiat money totally. It may replace fiat at some financial transactions but only on few transactions. The reasons you stated are good points. |

I agree that this will happen in the near future. Both fiat money and crypto currencies have their own advantages and disadvantages, so their parallel use is more convenient and expedient.

I perfectly agree with you because in as much as there are several demerits with fiat, there are some merits we cannot overlook. It is simple to use fiat for offline/one on one payment than to use crypto. Each will complement one another to make life more convenient for us all

Indeed. You are totally right about that. Those Fiat money and crypto money has a unique reason that we need. Because of those two we are convenient in every transaction we made. Yes, these two currency is a great combination a classic and a modern currency. Fiat is a great to used in offline and some people did not know how to used computer so it is perfect for them to used while for those people that has a knowledge in crypto they can explore how to used cryptocurrency for better transactions. |

You're right! Crypto and fiat money is the best combination because it has different uses and purpose but in the end we need both of them. Crypto was created as online money while fiat is for offline money. |

Well, yes, combining fiat currency with anything else, in this case cryptocurrency is far better than having fiat currency alone. I believe this is good because there might be a point where competition between the two types as payment would lead to further improvements in the crypto world or vice versa.

in my opinion, crypto / digital currency will replace the fiat currency one day.
It won't. Fiat is mostly used to buy crypto for those who want to invest when they starting, it is more faster way than using the other way. Fiat won't replace the digital currency because having a coin s on our pocket is easier to use when you are paying offline. It will take long and very new generation can experience all digital currency without fiat exist when government agree with it. |

Thats will not gonna happen. the government will certainly always manage fiat, there are many interests and concerns in fiat's local currency, not just about payment systems, so I think crypto will never take over the position of fiat, after all the topic of this thread is correct, that both of them can work together.. |

At least if everyone uses cryptocurrency for an investment place or payment instrument, I just doubt the way they buy cryptocurrency? Until today someone who has a cryptocurrency always uses money fiat to buy cryptocurrency, rarely do they exchange an item for the cryptocurrency. So as I have confidence if money fiat will always be available and used as the first instrument of payment, then they will use the cryptocurrency as the second instrument for payment tool. |

I also believe that in tandem Fiat money and cryptocurrencies give an excellent result in the field of Finance. But it should not be excluded that cryptocurrencies may eventually replace the Fiat currency (although this may not happen soon), however, such a decision can be made only by banks and government agencies. And they certainly will do as it will be convenient to them.

I am of the opinion that crypto will not replace fiat for now, of course, crypto continues to run and continue as a means of the transaction via the internet. It runs harmoniously and accordingly in its place. This will not compete with each other because it is already in the holder. Fiat is held by people who are accustomed to using it, and crypto is held by the community and still uses fiat for daily needs and for investment.

I really love the idea of combining cryptocurrencies and paper cash. If it's like a parallel implementation of a system in which the other is slowly getting rid off until the new one can stand on its own, then it will be fine. But for me, using both of them is better so people have more options to choose from.

In order to have parallel implementation we would need to have them bitcoins printed on paper money. It is almost impossible to produce physical bitcoins that are secure and trustworthy! Look at some older implementations (e.g. caucasius coins), you had to trust the manufacturer. Bitcoin is trustless, and physical representations are something completely opposite. |

Very well said! I believe that crypotcurrency doesn't have the intention to replace the fiat currency. There are no competition between the two. When in fact, they can actually co-exist to each other. Just like if you have an online transactions such as online payments, sending money via digital, and so on then you can go for cryptocurrency and if you are on physical basis like paying groceries then fiat currency is more suitable. By the example I gave, we can conclude that the both can actually be exist and doesn't hindrance each other. |

You have the same thoughts with me. Electronic money and flat money in parallel are the most practical and useful combination. Electronic money can not completely replace flat money because its real value is not credible enough to become a global money currency. It should only be used in quick transactions and as a payroll for online jobs.

i agree and support if crypto supporting each other. so people that know and want to use crypto as their payment is acceptable. and yes, if in some or every store, they are provide service like that. people that don't know about Bitcoin will attract and try it, and thats good to spread Bitcoin too.
