Hello Friends, I have recently got ledger nano and trying to set up Ripple wallet. When I open the ripple app in my computer it just comes blank. I researched online and tried all fixes such as close google chrome, connect the ledger after launching app, turning off browser support and so on. Still it just comes blank. I uninstall and reinstall as well and still same blank. Screen shot below. Can you please help. Thanks

I've not had this issue myself, but with a quick Google search I found this reddit post that suggests it may be due to installing the x64 rather than the x86 version, or vice versa.

Is this on a standalone app or a chrome app? On chrome I found this for a standalon application, check similar things. Look and see if you ledger nano is connected correctly (it should appear somewhere). What operating system are you running also? I've not had this issue myself, but with a quick Google search I found this reddit post that suggests it may be due to installing the x64 rather than the x86 version, or vice versa. X86 should work on all. X64 is limited to 64-bit operating systems.

There is no option for chossing different bits in ledger website . There is only one version (64 bits) to download. https://www.ledgerwallet.com/apps/ripple

X86 should work on all. X64 is limited to 64-bit operating systems. Of course, my mistake. Thanks for the correction. If you go to their Github - Ripple - Releases, you can find the x86 version there. As I said, I've not had this problem so I can't guarantee this is a fix, but it seemed to work for the same issue for that user on reddit.

make sure you run the latest firmware. settings > device > Firmware or follow this ----> https://support.ledgerwallet.com/hc/en-us/articles/360002731113In fact, I have never had this problem with Ledger Nano but I got almost the same problem with Toast wallet. Assuming that this problem happens for all Ripple wallets, here is a solution that helped me with Toast: - Open "local security policy" (using windows search). - click local policies ----> security options. - Drag down to find "User account control: Admin approval mode for the bulit-in administrator account " click then Enabled ---> apply and ok - "User account control: Allow UIAccess applications to prompt "click then Enabled ---> apply and ok - "User account control: Run all administrator in Admin." click then Enabled ---> apply and ok. - Restart your device

Will it be safe downloading from this page? the reason I am asking when I try to run the exe (setup_ledger_wallet_ripple_win_x86_1.1.1.exe) the windows defender showed warning. But when I ran the exe downloaded from ledger website, it did NOT show any warning.

Find it from the ledger wallet site from google or another search engine if you're not sure (it's listed at the bottom of their site).

Installing the correct version of the wallet (desktop application + nano s application) most probably will solve your issue. But make sure your nano s is up-to-date as well! Current firmware version is 1.4.2 ( https://www.ledger.fr/2018/04/17/announcing-ledger-firmware-1-4-2/). At least 1.3.1 is required to be able to run the ripple wallet.

Both are. Both do have the same SHA256 fingerprint ( C3:BD:EB:22:E3:A9:BE:85:62:6B:F3:45:DE:74:C0:A2:50:77:31:B3:6B:BD:24:8B:F6:55:3D:0C:A1:A7:A9:E3). Both sites do use the same ssl certificate (issued for sni79463.cloudflaressl.com). Did you install the correct version from https://github.com/LedgerHQ/ledger-wallet-ripple/releases? Did it work?

Hi Bob, Thanks. Yes I installed other version .Not the correct because my pc is 64 bits so the 64 bit version should have worked. but instead, the other version ( wrong version which is not even on their actual website) seems to be working now. I sent 100 xrp to wallet and it shows 0 balance. I searched online and see many people have same issues? But there was no solution. So don't know how to see my xrp. I am getting fade-up with ledger nano S to say honestly! I am now not sure if I really should use this buggy product for my BTC .

Go to https://xrpcharts.ripple.com/#/ and enter your account# to check whether you have received your funds. If, according to this site, your funds have arrived then it is mostly just a network/display issue. Do you also have network/connection issues with other ledger applications? I am getting fade-up with ledger nano S to say honestly! I am now not sure if I really should use this buggy product for my BTC . The nano s works flawlessly for me (and lots of other user). Issues mostly appear because of faulty OS-/network- settings or connection issues (to ledger server). The device itself is not buggy. The coins can always be recovered with the seed.

Where exactly on https://xrpcharts.ripple.com/#/ I type my account number? I see there is option to type transaction hash. but i don't see an option to enter my XRP account number. If I type transaction hash it says transaction succesful but it doesn't tell any information about my ledger nano s account nad if the balance is there or not.

Look at the top-right corner of the page. Hover the "Accounts" menu and click at "Account Explorer" (or just go here); Then, paste your address into the text box and click "Go".

Thanks all for replying. I have managed to sort this out by following below:
press Ctrl+Shift+A to reset the data. After cleaning, the next synchronization will recover all your transactions.
Click on "Change Node" and replace s2.ripple.com by s1.ripple.com
