The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

Hello there, Hackathon participants will create dapps on Testnet 3.0 or miannet?

Hey there, I think they will be developing it on testnet right after its release.

And what about the amount of paticipants, did it increase? Last time there were 63

Botstorm said here amount of participants grew up to 150 or even more, it's pretty great amount tbh, and  that number was even before Ivan announced it in his video if I'm not mistaken, so I think there's even more)

Can someone clarify this? Or we should wait for official announcement about amount of participants? Is there any precise info at all about it?

Just another noob question : what if I run a node and I shut down my computer, and then open it again.
Does it download again the whole blockchain or does it work like differential backup (only the modified/new blocks are downloaded and added to the main database) ?

It will download only new blocks. The old blocks that you've already downloaded are on your PC in the "test_bd" folder.
Yeah, Kotarastra is right, after you shut down your node you'll stop downloading new block. Once you launch your node again you'll begin downloading blocks that were generated while you were offline, synchronization time will depend on how much time you were offline and how many block were generated. I hope that clarifies the process well enough:)

Like an example - According to the Automotive Components Manufacturers Association of India, fake spare parts cause more than 20% of total car crashes. So yes, blockchain can solve one of these holes

Possible way of employing this technology in manufacturing is a self-performing smart contract, which keeps all documentation in a digital format, thus removing unnecessary workload. This robot does not need to be controlled by the factory management. Developers program the contract and ensure that all terms and conditions as well as possible implications are listed. For example, when materials are delivered to the production base, the amount payable is automatically remitted to the counterparty. Electronic contract is entered into using digital signature. Hard-copy paperwork does not apply at all. It will reduce operational cost and can affect actual cars value.

Are there any countries that have already recognised this approach and start its integration? India?

Prospects for blockchain employment have already gained recognition from Japan. AISIN group, a developer and producer of components and systems for the automotive industry, has announced it is setting up a fund ($50 mln) to support innovative technology in the automotive sector, primarily the blockchain. The fund is managed by Fenox.

Hi, as i know they are waiting for 3.1 version

Did they release 3.0 or just make some changes to not yet released 3.0? Did they say anything about that?

There's release 3.1 shown on Monitor page, but I think they just made minor improvements to already finished 3.0 that's why it's 3.1)

That can be considered rather good, do they forecast it farther than 2025?
