Let me guess, you are looking at BTC volume instead of currency volume?

MTGOX only as 12k of BTC on the sell wall, compared to 150k last year.. expect rich people that demand to own atleast 100 coins + each (no matter the price) to cause significant rises

as well as those wanting to sell at nice profits to cause the swings down.. it is going to be very volitile month, not a stable slow month
