I think that's not a failure, but I think it's a bitcoin double functionality that can act as a currency to make payments, and can also be used as an investment vehicle because the price has experienced significant increases over time.

in other words, bitcoin is a currency that can be made into a means of payment, and can also be used as a means of storage of wealth.

I agree on this, It did not failed currency. It is far different, bitcoin just needs support and the media is against it so they will influence all to turn their backs since the price drop is happening they're taking advantage from it. Bitcoin is so underrated and ignored by the government, they didn't knew that this can lead into progress and the future of our currency not just the hassle type of currency which is the paper money. Bitcoin will definitely make it to the long term part, the rate is just declining but I know bitcoin will pull this off.

We can't say this thing right now because the future are still bright with bitcoin. Yeah, for now a lot of black propaganda just to ruins bitcoin reputation but I still believe in the future of this thing, bitcoin will become a major currency in the future. This is just the beginning.

Indeed! this is just the beginning. Since, the bitcoin has started a lot of propaganda already ruining it. But, look how successful bitcoin is. It is still surviving up to now and as far as i know, many of the company already accepting bitcoin.Maybe, in the future bitcoin will be legally accepted all over the world.

Maybe, when the cap kinda high and the prices already become stable. Then, bitcoin could go to the currencies phase again. Because when the prices is so volatile, i doubt that many merchant/ online store would use this bitcoin as payment method. It would be difficult for the merchant/ online store to adjust the price.

I think it's hard to change in the long term. As the cost of bitcoin trading is high, it is unstable. I think crypto can be used instead of cash but another kind of crypto money, not bitcoin

First when I heard about bitcoin I didn't take it as a investment to take profit because I liked the technology behind scenes.
But the first guys who entered in game and they are still in game they make the price . Now it is just pump and dump world

The original intentions was to have a currency which is cheap and can serve as a viable alternative to fiat and other payment processors. While the transaction fees issue is largely solved by now, its still a problem if the adoption increases. The more obvious issue is the volatility. No one wants to use a currency which is so volatile and no one wants to invest in a currency that is stable. Until these two problems are solved, the adoption rate is likely to be extremely low.

Yes, you are right Bitcoin is not suitable to be called as currency. Bitcoin prices are very volatile is more suitable serve as a long-term investment asset. Because Bitcoin is more profitable to be used as an investment asset than used as a currency.

I agree with your opinion bitcoin fails to be a currency, because not everyone knows bitcoin and bitcoin have no physical form is not the same as fiat money, I think bitcoin suitable to be used as an investment tool not as currency.

I think bitcoin will be difficult to make currency because many countries ban bitcoin for transactional tools but currently bitcoin users make it as investment asset, but fore we can not predict whether bitcoin will be the currency in every country.
