So, I have my email and password, and Yobit accepts them. There is no place to write 2fa code or anything like that though I have 2fa recovery code written down and I had it disabled long ago. This is the message I am receiving from Yobit: Invalid auth code. Please put valid code from email letter. What is that even mean? I registered and traded with them earlier no problem. Now it will not let me log in.
I am using Lastpass, so I am going to the site through that program, which means I registered on that site. It is filling out my information based on what I registered with, so there is no way that it is the wrong email. In either case, yobit accepts my email and password. It is saying Invalid auth code. Please put valid code from email letter. Nothing on email spam, but even there was something, there is no place to fill out the code or whatever.

This 2fa isn't google authenticator or anything of that sort. It's just an email sent to your registered email address, containing a random string that you have to enter in to be able to get into your Yobit account. I'm not sure why you're not receiving the email. If it says that check your email for authentication letter, then it should mean that your email is valid and you didn't enter a wrong email. I just tried logging in and everything went fine. Perhaps Yobit's email servers are down right now. Not sure why there wouldn't be a field appearing for the code to be entered though, because it should appear automatically as it did for me. Try with a different browser. Don't even bother contacting support since they'll just ignore you anyways.

Place to fill your auth code (that you will receive after your login information is accepted) will be below the password area which only comes after you will login with username and email first. I have done this several times without problem, just wait for few hours and keep checking your spam folder. I am using gmail with yobit without any problem, problem might be also on your email provider side.

WOW, I cannot believe how helpful you were. If I had any merit left, I would give it to you. It turns out I had to try it with Internet Explorer. Earlier I had entered and used the site with Chrome, no problem, but this time no dice. I used IE, and it immediately said it sent me an email, and I received it. Not sure what is wrong with Chrome, but must be an extension or something. THANK YOU VERY MUCH FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART! So, I have my email and password, and Yobit accepts them. I think it might be something with the fact that you have a Lastpass chrome extension (correct me if I'm wrong), and it thinks that the field for the authentication code is the place to put your password or something. Not sure why it wouldn't appear, or even send you an email. I'd actually recommend checking if the site was a phishing site, even though chances are low. Also, just a friendly reminder that yobit is pretty damn shady, and you should avoid using it if you can.

Yeah, I withdrew by tokens and coins from there immediately, I do not know why I did not do it before On the plus side, it gave me free tokens I do not know what's for. this time you were lucky, but do not use yobit because they are a very somber exchange, see the latest case of scam accusation against yobit: Yobit.Net Scamming My DepositI deposited my money on end January through Payeer, but the fund was not added in Yobit and when I checked with Payeer, they said the fund goes through to Yobit. So I raise a support ticket to Yobit, but they have not reply to my support ticket for 3 months! They just keep quiet and scam my money!
Avoid Yobit! There are a lot better exchange to trade in crypto!
Deposit details: @merchant: yobit.net [109742630]; History ID: 470616078; Pay system: Payeer; Date: 20.01.2018 18:56:53; Pay date: 20.01.2018 19:01:17; Order ID: FI1C89364F39527070F3CB784DF88D6AE4;
days have passed and yobit has not posted anything in the thread of this guy who is accusing them of scam and apparently this guy still can not get his problem solved. This is not the first case and it will not be the last scam case involving yobit. so I advise you not to use yobit

Did you check the 'others' or 'spam' folder of your email? maybe the auth code was sent there.

I can confirm that authentication code option is not working currently for me. Based on what can be read on their chat, they have some problems with e-mails, but this is nothing strange for them. Only option is to wait for fix, or better not to use this exchange.

I also tried Internet explorer logging in in Yobit and I experienced the same problem. When I was about to enter the authentication code from my mail there was no provided box for the code so I did it with Chrome and it went fine and fast. Anyway there are 2 boxes provided there, the code they send to your mail and the google authenticator code for your email and 2fa.

Sometimes the email comes too late, and it makes you will get a failure to get in. I think if that is what you see, you can try again in the next 10 minutes and I think the email will comes fast than before. I don't have this problem so far, and the email verification came into my email after I click login, and I can put the verification code from my email and log in without a problem.

I gave you merits for being so helpful to OP, even though this thread is a couple weeks old at least. I've had similar problems with Binance and Firefox/Opera issues and had to figure out tricks to make things work--and it can be frustrating. And yep, Yobit is indeed shady. At this point I don't think anyone should be using them as their exchange of choice. If you need a coin that isn't listed on one of the better ones, I'd say go for it but you're still trying your luck with Yobit. If you ever run into an issue, you can forget about them giving you any help.

If that coin is listed only on YoBit and not on any other major exchanges, it probably means the coin is a pump and dump scheme with no future. I'd avoid buying such coins at any cost. YoBit conducts its shady ICO's every month or two for such useless coins. Google Authenticator [GA] always problem about time sync, we have double check before use it. Even GA haven't back up too when Handphone get a problem. I was migrating to Authy for 2fa, it have back up whe you loss your phone
It does have a back-up. The key that you get while installing the app for the first time. You gotta save it somewhere else than your phone.
