Datacoin is a new concept coin which can give him long life and good support. If developers start using it as decentralized storage, it will be very popular.

Can you link me to Datacoin's main thread or webpage?

It seems to me that no innovative after Primecoin (except Datacoin  Smiley ). Curecoin still in development. There are other coins with new algos, but no one for using hashpower or blockchain for something except coins.

LTC price follows BTC but mostrly for speculation reasons. Also it may have developers actively supporting it but provides nothing new or innovative against bitcoin. So between the two the choise is obvious.

What's your take on the BitShares one?

My suggestion litecoin, ppc and xpm. This will likely increase.

Ah, sorry, I forgot about 3rd side of innovations - not only "algo", "engineering", but also "financial", so yes, BitShares are like financial innovations.

PPC is the most interesting one. I believe at some point, the Proof of Work coins will realize the hardware race is unsustainable, and turn to PPC's Proof of Stake system.

1+ PPC would have its place in the future.

LTC, DGC, and SRC

development on DGC and SRC is active, fiat exchange should be out in december. coins need services to survive, that's what's happening for DGC and SRC. Baritus plans to integrate the marketplace along with the exchange, as well as setting up a virtual bank to set loans in DGC. Time will tell Smiley do your research!

Glad to see it getting some more attention these days. 2014 should be a bright year for PPC.

Take a look here.

Bitcoin has been the best chance always. LTC, PPC and XPM have good potential.

Long time trader here,

Right now BTC is at a low and is going to start growing again. These hearings have been positive, and this means Altcoins will usually fall against BTC (but still rise in USD).

Even so their are some historically strong coins with active communities and specifications. If I were to invest into Altcoin I would diversify approximately this way:

25%MEC 20%DGC 15%ANC 25%LTC 7.5%PPC 7.5%XPM

Guaranteed to make profit, Likely even in BTC.

Good Luck
