So there has been a lot of hype about bitcoin lately and I know it is revolutionary and has lots of advantages. But let's try to state the reasons why exactly do you personally think that bitcoin is not great and lacks in some points. I know it has great applications and is just great but it is not falwless right?
My question is simple and straight, What are the flaws of bitcoin?
Except its high volatility and "Dark use" (in illegal activities).

In my opinion, the manipulation of price could be the reason why other people would not invest in bitcoin. The price correction could be dangerous as we had no control to stop those investors who had dumps their coins to get their profits.

The ultimate reasons why people do not invest in bitcoin is not so much because they do not trust this currency or they are afraid to try a new innovation. But more than that the ultimate reasons are factors which sometimes out of control. This maybe sound funny but it is realistic I will post the list of the ultimate reasons why people do not invest in bitcoin.

1. No money - If you do not have money it is impossible for you to invest.
2, No internet access - In areas without internet access people do not invest in bitcoin because they just cant
3. No knowledge,skills - In third world countries people are more concerned on survival, they have no idea on how to use a computer or a mobile phone since their primary concern in life is just to survive. Of course they do not know what bitcoin since in their field it is not visible.

I guess its decentalization is the biggest flaws of bitcoin that is hesitating each and every country to introduce bitcoin in their nation and making them to ban bitcoin in their respective nation . Decentralization is the only cause that gives rise other dark side activities such as terrorism,ransom killing and all these things can put any country's security at risk and no country can risk it otherwise bitcoin is a very sustainable cryptocurrency and have that potential that it can replace paper currency in the future.

there's no reason not to invest bitcoin, if we have the money and have the knowledge of the way bitcoin invests, bitcoin definitely will give an advantage, because bitcoin is a very profitable investment tool for now, so there's no reason for me not to invest bitcoin.

i think there's no reason to not invest in bitcoin if you have no money you do not allowed to invest in bitcoin because bitcoin is need money for the income in the investor of bitcoin.

One problem that hinders Bitcoin right now is the amount of transaction it can handle per second. That won't stop me from investing in to Bitcoin though because it'll surely get fixed in the future. Those two things that OP mentioned can't be avoided, for me the high volatility is one thing that makes Bitcoin interesting I see it as a good thing rather than a flaw.

I think this forum is not the right place for you because all users here trust bitcoin and you cant get an answer to your question here we will not look at its negative side because we sincerely beleive in it.

There's nothing bad about mentioning the bad sides about Bitcoin we all know that it has some problems if we ignore it there's a chance that it could get worse. Not everyone here trusts Bitcoin anymore now that there's a lot of altcoins popping out from nowhere making them think that those new coins is better and would catch up to Bitcoin.

There are many reasons why you should not really invest in bitcoin one here is the scammers that are scattered and just scavenging everything you invest. but if you really want to invest then you'll find good investment and trusted and well-known.

there may be many reasons why not invest in bitcoin but in my opinion there is no harm if investing in bitcoin because bitcoin is a very useful digital currency in the future or lack of education about bitcoin can also be a strong reason.

Currently, countries do not have specific policies on bitcoin as well as other virtual currencies. That is the reason limiting the development of virtual currency

volatility is not the reason why not invest on bitcoin i guess. for me, volatility is a good thing.
you can buy it on the low price, and later it become high price due the volatility.

As my own opinion I did not see about the flaws of bitcoin,  when we say about the volatility of bitcoin I think There 's nothing wrong with this situations. Because when the price is declined in a very low price we are also getting this benifits, we can buy more bitcoin in a low price and hold until the price increase. So of the price bitcoin increase in very high value we sell it... and gain more profits.

And the dark side which you are talking about or the illegal use of the bitcoin, that problem is serious. the transactions done through the system of bitcoin are anonymous in nature and the identity of the criminal is difficult to trace. So criminals these days have made this crypo market a darknet to fulfill their ill wishes.
