Full control of operating frequency and core voltage are, my opinion, baseline mandatory features for any miner.

Cool, quiet and up to 1TH pod miner, on sale now!
Currently in development - 200+GH USB stick; 6TH volt-adjustable S1/3/5 upgrade kit

I agree. I hope all the dragon units have this functionality eventually.

I of the major reasons I kept the T1's rathe then send them back  was the 3 speeds allowed with ck's firmware upgrades.

Firmware that lowers hashrate  but does not  lower  watts per gh is meh.

-ck's firmware dropped watts per gh from .105 to .095

in my setup this = $$

and -ck's throttle feature to prevent over heating = $$ for my setup up.

I would like 1 more lower setting if possible.

something that drops me to 1000 watts  and maybe 0.087 watts a gh

I can get the power usage down, but I cannot improve the efficiency any further. In efficient mode the chains are voltage tuned to the lowest stable voltage that produces a good hashrate and is still high enough to keep the chains running reliably. Turning the voltage down any further will only make the chains unreliable I'm afraid which means all I can achieve is lower power usage at the same efficiency.

Still it may be worth 1 lower setting as an option

Even if  you do the same 0.092 or 0.093
Summer is coming for a lot of miners.
A super low setting could be helpful for a hot space.

Actually kind of same type of turn-around that WhatsMiner did with the M3 and M3X miner models (the later one is little upgraded and is equipped with a built-in power supply unit.

Ahhh, looks like it did turn out the way I thought it would! Hopefully I get a batch for these T2s! I'll make sure to dump some S9s before they come out

What was the price for the T2? When I managed to see the update it was already sold out so I am curious as to what the price was.

EDIT - I now see everything accept the T2 off the website so assuming they are updating and that there was never a price/availability on the T2. Suppose we have to sign-up for the waiting list  Undecided

Looks like it will be okay enough to get some.

I have been testing  my new arrival an avalon 841.

I may end up with

T1
T2
Avalon 841

and no more s-9's

not one of the six I had did 16.0 at 1480 watts.  that is 0.0925
they all did do 14.00 th at 1300 which is  1300/14000 =  0.093 watts a gh
that 0.093 is good.
if these do   1575 watts over 17000 it would be 0.0928
I think the gear won't do this  even with the 5 chips and better software.

My guess is it does  1500 watts at 16000 gh or close to that. which is  spec for the T1.
my issue would be  I don't want 1500 watt miners 1300 watt are better as 4 go to a 30 amp circuit.

You can still get away with 4 on a 30amp pdu. Even though your slightly over the recommended it will work. I ran 4 pdu's rated for 30amp at 25amps for months.

Also everyone bitching about the integrated psu... It's not that bad. Okay the psu goes so you get sent a new one ti disassemble and put on it's 6 wires that is all you need. Also say your psu goes out on it you easily run this off a breakout board. I like the integrated psu only because I have had to move my mining setup so many times and I HATE plugging in those clips they kill my hands. I have miners that were server rack mounted with gray matter 7u cases and I had some on racks then I relocated some and constantly moving them to rewire. While with this setup it's just miner next to miner next to miner not psu's with short cables in the way. I think this is a good thing and really if the psu goes you just swap to another just like you would with an s9.

I have ran over 50 antminers even above their operating temps and never had a psu go out. I have seen one go BANG and not turn on for 5 minutes because of their built in safety. (L3+ had a short on a hashboard it killed 2 hp server psu but the bitmain ones just went into protection mode)

Also while I am typing this everyone that uses the breakoutboard remember that if the shit shorts there is a very high likelihood the psu will blow and melt the cable and possibly cause a fire if anything is on the plastic psu cable from a pdu.

ps. This was 50% rambling I am sorry

pps. Where can we buy a T2 or do I have to wait for them to be mass produced?

Interesting that the T2 is being advertised under the Innosilicon name (and even the website link on the card in the picture), even though there's no information as far as I can see about the T2 miner on the Innosilicon website- this might mislead potential buyers considering the product listing and specs are on the Halong site and all. Not sure what they're thinking here.

Maybe they have realized they have already royally screwed up the Halong Mining name with the poor quality out of spec machines, missed delivery schedules, and non competitive pricing.

Stop buying industrial miners, running them at home, and then complaining about the noise.
