Altcoin is a combination of two words: "alt" and "coin" alt is short for alternative and coin signifies currency. Thus together they imply a category of cryptocurrency that is alternative to the digital currency Bitcoin. after the success story of Bitcoin, many other peer-to-peer digital currencies have emerged in an attempt to imitate that success. many of the altcoins are built up on the basic framework provided by Bitcoins. Thus most altcoins are peer-to-peer, involve a mining process and offer efficient and cheap ways to carry out transactions on the web. But even with many overlapping features, altcoins vary widely from each other.

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Altcoin is a coin developed on the basis of Bitcoin and can overcome the limitations of Bitcoin. Altcoin has made the digital money market more and more complete. But for me Bitcoin still holds the number one spot in the market. The competition of Altcoin coins made Bitcoin stronger, more attractive. |

Digital currencies other than bitcoin are frequently referred to as altcoins, which essentially translates to alternative to bitcoin. they are created after the success of bitcoin. altcoins are made to overcome the flaws of bitcoin as well as to compete with it. There are thousands of cryptocurrency alternatives to Bitcoin available today each with unique differences, functionalities, and purposes.

you need to understand what is altcoins. Altcoins indeed are all the coins except bitcoin. Altcoins is come out from ico which is its a company or team that launch their coins in purpose of use on their project for services. I do think altcoins would have good future and will be usefull. |

Altcoin almost the same as Bitcoin, the price can not be predicted to jump so quickly, can also go down very swiftly. The amount of Altcoin in circulation can also increase without anyone being able to control it.

altcoin bro is alternative cryptocurruncies it lunches after the success of bitcoin, altcoin is developed through the platform of bitcoin, some say's that altcoin will be the next bitcoin, for me it's not gonna happen because bitcoin is the father of all cryptocurruncies bro. IMO

That fork is only the catalyst. The reason people are buying is because of emotions. Many Bitcoin investors are getting impatient and frustrated with Bitcoin remaining stagnant while Bitcoin has repetitively shown gains of 20% everyday. Eventually, when the cryptocurrency market falls again in the new few weeks, Bcash will be the biggest loser. And it could happen exactly around or before the Bitcoin ABC fork being released on May 15th. Thus, I would not encourage anyone to believe to stick with Bcash until the fork is released. That’s purely speculation, you still have to be very cautious. |
